I need to do a better job of taking photos. Not a fan of take out pics. But Chez....my friend you never disappoint. I stay at the hotel in walking distance. Food is always hot, fresh, spicy and delicious. Food is 5 stars, will need to eat inside to roll a full fiver. Cheers.

I ordered take out over phone. The food was delicious. I got Deep fried tofu with no pork and side of steamed rice. Not the best of short grained rice but the tofu was delicious. Super kudos to the restaurant for fixing the tip amounts. We need to go back to the spirit of tipping where you tip extra only when you are extremely happy with food and service and not as compulsion of not looking like a bad person and square payments take tips to 30%. They have 7% take out and 18% dine in. Not everyone wants to pay for an extra person in today's times.

Always stop by here when driving to the bay. It’s like having comfort food without the hassle of cooking and cleaning after.They charge 18% gratuity on your bill, which I say is so worth it. From the time you take your sit, to the time your food comes to your table after ordering, fast and efficient! Server is also very attentive to your needs.Oh, the food! IMHO they definitely one of the best in Foster City!
This is my absolute favorite casual Chinese food restaurant on the peninsula! They use fresh, high quality ingredients and offer a range of delicious dishes, each with their own unique flavor profile. Top favorites are the cilantro beef, kung poa chicken, garlic eggplant, pot stickers, and green beans. My only complaint is they don’t give you soy sauce, chili sauce or hot mustard. The chef is committed to his flavor profile, but it feels like bad customer service and it’s a huge disappointment for my kid who likes soy sauce on his rice. Be advised they ad a 17% service feel to all checks regardless of size, but I don’t take issue because the service is fast and friendly

Poor service, owner is a POS who yells at his staff in front of customers. Food quality has gone downhill from 2 years ago. BS 18% mandatory charge which used to be 20%

I like this chez Xue Restaurant a lot. Ingredients are fresh and high quality. I like Cilantro Beef and Green onion pancakes. All dishes were excellent. Authentic and great service. Really nice and modern restaurant. The best Chinese food in the Silicon Valley. My go to lunch place.

That food was very disappointing. On top of that, this establishment loudly claims on their website to be a "No Tipping Restaurant", yet has a mandatory 18% "Service Fee". This is just a mandatory 18% tip. That is very misleading and dishonest

Easily one of the best meals I've had recently, hands down. The mongolian beef, kung pao chicken, and green scallion pancake are particularly delicious, but everything is great across the board. Will definitely be back soon.

Super authentic northern Chinese food. From their Zha Jiang Mian, Cumin Lamb to their Scallion pancakes everything tastes phenomenal. They include service charges in their pricing which makes it easy to check out. Definitely hits the spot
