The shrimp and eggplant are my favorites.The main dishes are good as well and on par with some of my favorite Vietnamese places in the area.The deserts/pastries are a bit of a let down and I would save desert for another place. The macaroons were on the dry side and the macarons were too sweet for me.Service was friendly and informative.“
“Nice enough spot. Lots of room although they do try and pack a couple of tables into the corners despite the huge amount of room by the dart boards. Tables are 7 footers and diamond so nice enough. Cloth is in pretty good condition. Drink selection is about average as is pricing although the first drink I got seemed a bit watered down. People are gregarious and not shy. Keep your expectations in check as it is sort of a dive bar but, as they go, a pretty good one.“

We also had a dog with us so needed to find a place that had outdoor seating and was dog friendly. This place was perfect! The food was incredible. “Wow. I forgot how good Maggiano's was. We started with the crab cakes which were delicious. I had the Mom's Lasagna which was great. My son had the Chicken Piccata which looked good. We also had a chopped salad and tiramisu for dessert. All excellent. Our server was perfect. For $6 each we then had a pasta dish to take home. For $6 the lasagna was a good deal.“
“Awesome speakeasy in the Anaheim Packing District! I knew it would be hard to get a reservation here so I started looking a couple of months before my birthday. Unfortunately, they only release reservations a few weeks at a time & as soon as my desired date was available, it was already fully booked. Since we were staying in the area, we decided to see if they would take walk ins. Unfortunately, the hostess said that they were fully booked for the night. I was super bummed & was ready to walk away but decided to ask if I could put my name down in case there was a cancellation. Fortunately, she said if we came back in an hour, she could take us in before the next resy came in. Score! We had dinner at their neighboring restaurant & waited until we got a text. The space is super neat! It is dimly lit, they had a piano player in the corner, & cozy. We went in February so their drink menu was love themed. I recommend getting something from their seasonal menu & their regular menu so you can taste the best of both worlds. They make their cocktails delicious & strong. The bartenders are friendly & gave awesome recs. They also serve apps here.“

“I've been trying to come to this place for the past couple years but they've always been closed since they're not open Sunday-Wednesday which is usually when we drive down to Disneyland from the Bay Area. We were finally able to come down on a Saturday and reserve a spot way in advance. Food was good but we came to drink the drinks. “After going to the Garden Amp for a concert, a group of us were looking for a place to grab and drink and a bite to eat. We found this place on Yelp and so we decided to give it a try. This place is in a industrial but the wife and I like dives so we came in. Unfortunately, the owner let us know that the kitchen was closed so I went out to inform our group. We decided to have a drink anyways but when we walked in Paula met us at the door with that huge smile and said that they could offer us a limited. We quickly ordered 5 burgers and fries. BTW, the buns are made there at Henry's, that is a nice and rare move for a small dive bar, right? The beer offerings were pretty decent. I had a Blue Moon and my friends had Fuzzy... something or other. I was laughing and talking so I don't know exactly. My wife did get the Cardiff Cab Sauvignon that was pretty decent. What makes a great dive bar is the crowd and this place had a great group. The table next to us was serenading the room with both Bolero's and some great country hits. Their fun was infectious. We bought $10 worth of tickets and won $50 at their 11:30 raffle drawing. Our bartender Alisa was awesome. She was welcoming, friendly, and made some great suggestions for our drinks. “We were up in the Long Beach area for the weekend and my husband wanted to watch UFC so he found this bar showing it at no charge! The place is big with lots of TVs, seating and games. It was a bit cluttered. Lots of stuff that were sitting in piles all over the place. It seems like it should be in a storage room but maybe they are short on storage. Other than that, it was fine. The staff was great. Like I said, it is a big place but we did not have a problem getting drinks or food. I ordered the pretzel bites and a Nathan's hot dog Chicago style. “I've been to a lot of fancy steakhouses, and I can tell the difference between good quality meat, good flavoring, and good execution! Madera's rib eye prime steak was just that. It was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly! One of the best steaks I have ever had! Also tried their sausage with hatched chilies and it was just wonderful. We literally licked the plate clean! Yesterday, I got a carne asada wet burrito for lunch. OMG!!! Literally the BEST wet burrito I have ever had, EVER!!! The meat was so thick and tender and they do not skimp out on the meat. It's loaded with meat and a pretty big portion as well. I highly recommend any one who wants delicious food and a great environment for live music, to come to Maderas steakhouse! The draft beer is always good, they pour a lot of drafts so it is always fresh and ice cold. Bar service so order at the bar and either sit / stand there (it's often very crowded so barstools can be hard to come by. Or sit at a booth if there's one available.“

“This was my 2nd time here. First time was for drinks and dessert which I loved so I decided to come back for a birthday dinner. We had no problems getting a table for 5 on a Saturday at 7pm. We were seated in the back room. The atmosphere was very Vegas lounge like. They even had a dj come in at 8pm to play. The service here was really nice. Food and drinks we loved too. Asian fusion style of menu. We tried 3 of the desserts and all 3 were soooo good. Definitely a place for date night or celebrating a special occasion. They even gave the birthday boy a little birthday gift. A must try for sure for all. =)“
