What time does Coq Au Vin open? It said 9AM but we came at 9:11 AM and wait until 9:30 AM. And it is CLOSED! We checked the time on the door and it said on the door 9AM.

Food over priced and under taste!! Not worth it at all. I've never been to France but I think REAL FRENCH viet food is tastier and cleaner, don't go to bathroom before you eat or you'll lose your appetite!!

Wow, I'm surprised how good the sizzling steak entree was. Beef was so tender and peppercorn sauce was so flavorful and savory. I'm definitely coming here for my birthday next week.

was golfing or at least taking a lesson at Mile Square Golf Course. After wanting to have lunch before driving back to LA, my friend said let's dine a Coq Au Vin and I said sounds French and she said no it is Vietnamese and okay let's do it. Easy parking as it is in a mall and the GPS took me right to the location since it is a huge parking area. Decor of the restaurant explains the naming of the restaurant perhaps reflecting the strong French influence in Vietnam (French Indochina). It is actually very pleasant decor and comfortable seating and very open air lending to feeling a bit safer in these tough pandemic times. I ordered the seafood won ton soup and it was very good. plenty of seafood (shrimp, fish) and veggies and noodles in the mix. Tasty broth and won tons seemed meaty so that's cool. My friend had the steak (t-bone) and fries and a glass of red wine. She noted the glass was less than half full can politely complained and the server delivered a top off free. She seemed to enjoy her meal very much since she has had it before and knew what she wanted, thus a 5 star meal for her. My soup was 3 star thus 4 star outing! I would come back to try some of the many other delicious dishes they offer

This is an okay French inspired Vietnamese restaurant. I would come here on occasion when I was on the keto diet because they have a beef and egg sizzling dish that comes with a salad. Lots of seating but the chair aren't too comfortable. The service isn't the best but I think the employees do the best they can. No complaints with the food. Foods good and it comes out pretty quick, but this is one of those restaurants that charges you for water. Overall, okay restaurant but hard to pick when there are so many other Asian restaurants close by.

Took my dad here, vey outdated and dusty. Portions are not consistent. Food is mediocre. When we dined in here, the ambiance is absolute silence. No music at all. I believe older people like to eat here due to location, decor, and price.

The service was very bad. My family went there and waited in front of the door for a while but nobody come to ask us or show us where we can sit. The server just gathered and talked about something they don't want to care who's coming. Then my family left after waiting and received the bad service. Terrible!

This place has a change of ownership not for long ago. They now do not have license to serve beer or liquor. The Bo Ne is just Salisbury steak that serves with two over easy eggs. There are only two servers and they looked like they didn't have enough experience to do the job even there are only a third full of customers. Need improvement!

Painful to write this one as I want this place to succeed. The good: It wasn't horrible. I would actually eat here again. Great prices, super diverse menu, owner was nice enough. Coq Au vin was actually ok. Apple tart was ok as well. Great fries. The bad: Food is clearly premade or sitting in the back somewhere. Wasn't fresh, ordered a med rare steak and it came out in three minutes but was well done. Again, given the prices, it's understandable. Beef stew was so overcooked. Clearly it had been sitting in a pot for hours. I think they have their food ready to go because they're generally pretty busy. We were starving so it wouldn't have taken much to please us but yea, no real reason to come back.
