Waitress was very distracted. She forgot to bring me back my credit card after paying, as well as my leftover food. As a client, I didn’t pay attention either to her doing her job, and noticed it only 30 minutes later. Had to drive back to the restaurant where the waitress told me about how “I” had forgot my credit card. They already had thrown my leftover food and didn’t have any left. She offered to give me some helado de lucuma to make it up for it. First, their ice cream had freezer burn so I did not want to get more of it, and second, I was going to drive for over 2 hours, so couldn’t really bring ice cream with me. She didn’t insist on offering anything else and let me go.If the food was great, I would go back despite of the service, but it was far from that.

The food was ok. The disappointment started with the Chicha morada drink. I was told that it was home made but unfortunately mine was water down. The service was definitely great the young ladies working were very attentive and always with a smile.

2nd time eating here. This time was for a party of 18. I think we overwhelmed the kitchen, lol, so it wasn't the fastest vs the first time with just two of us. Regardless, both times i have really loved the food.

We were going to go to the place nextdoor, but wanted table service and this place was so inviting. Menu is extensive so took a while to decide. We got the calamari while figuring things out. So good. When the dishes came they were well plated, but they never took the empty calamari plate. My husband had a plate of pesto linguine with a breaded chicken. I had a beef plate with green beans and mashed potatoes. Both dishes were wonderful. Mashed potatoes were. Off the hook. Dessert menu was diverse enough. I wanted the special ice cream, since they didn't have enough for the dish they gave me a taste free of charge as a gesture. It was a great experience, but I am not sure I would choose it over my next restaurant roll of the dice.Kid-friendliness: Kids were there.

I used to enjoy coming here, until tonight. As a Peruvian-American, I always do my best to support Peruvian businesses. However, I will no longer support Inka Cantina. I ordered Vainitas con Carne. In their menu, they state they can substitute white rice for green spaghetti. I was informed they do not substitute rice. I explained to the staff that on their website and their menu (I showed the staff member both) clearly states that you can substitute rice with green spaghetti. The restaurant was unwilling to do so and when I asked why, I was given no explanation. This tells me two things. Either Inka Cantina is too lazy/cheap to Update their menus, or don’t care about their customers.

I'm Peruvian and the food is 4/10. I have been there a couple of times but for sure you can find better restaurants. The service is okay.

Good food, better service and nice ambiance. Ceviche mixto is the best dish, and we can enjoy Peruvian beers

The food itself is delicious BUT it doesn't have a Peruvian flavor. I told him it wasn't spicy and it was still spicy. We ordered salted seafood noodles, spicy seafood and macho fish. The sauce of the two stews and the flavor of the noodles are not Peruvian in flavor. I also ordered alfajores and they were not delicious. When you look for a Peruvian restaurant, you probably want that taste that no other restaurant has and unfortunately it doesn't have it. Me, I'm not coming back.

This is a great place for Peruvian food! A secret place that gets passed by as you're driving by. The green sauce they have is amazing!!! Aroz con pollo is very flavorful! I've tried a number of appetizers over the years and every single one has been delicious!

Amazing food!!! Quality food and service. I love that there is something for everyone to enjoy including my 6 month old baby (she had the causa de pollo)! Family favorite

You ever have one of those dishes you try once and then keep dreaming about? That's lomo saltado for me. So when the craving hit, I HAD to find the closest Peruvian place, and that's how I ended up at Inka Cantina on a Wednesday evening.PARKING:Shares a parking lot with Shabuya and the other businesses in the plaza. When we went on a weekday evening it was a piece of cake, but I've been to Shabuya for weekend dinner before and I'd say just be prepared for a little roaming around and perhaps settle for a space you have to walk a bit from.WHAT I ORDERED:* Empanadas, one each of beef, chicken, and spinach+cheese ($14.95)* Fish ceviche ($19.95)* Lomo saltado ($17.95)FOOD + DRINKSI think right off the bat my impression would be that the portions were smaller than we expected / have found elsewhere, which I don't think is necessarily a bad thing - just means they prioritize quality over quantity. And indeed they did. The empanadas were nice and crispy on the outside, but I'd say the star of the show was the spinach and cheese since I think the meat was a little less than impressive (tip: you can mix and match the type of empanada when you order!). The fish ceviche was also delicious, with nice big chunks of fish.Onto the lomo saltado! It was pretty standard. The beef was just a bit tough, but everything else about it was great. Looking back perhaps the Cantina's Lomo Saltado with the ribeye would have been better. Will have to come back for it.SERVICE:Amazing! They kept coming by with refills of water and checking in on us, and were happy to answer questions we had about the menu. Did I mention ... they give you free bread and butter!VIBES:When we came in it was pretty empty, probably because it was the weekday. The place was nice and cozy though, with lots of space, the type of place you can take your family to.BOTTOM LINE:Glad we got to give this place a try! I think just take a look at the pics on here so you know what to expect in terms of portion size. Also ... try the Cantina's Lomo Saltado for me, I'm curious :)

Went there with my family and friends. First time I was taking my friend from Brazil to try Peruvian food. We ordered, at the beginning service was ok, no problem with it, and the ambience looked very cozy, peruvian. But after we ordered, my friend's food came with tons of cheese (part of the ingredients), and I asked for more parmesan. The lady brought to us, and when I was about to add to my food, I saw there was MOLD inside the cheese bottle. My friend's food had MOLD ON IT. He stopped eating instantly, we even took him to the doctor right after. The people at the restaurant didn't even say sorry, and they were even trying to charge my friend for his plate with MOLD , even though he hadn't even eaten!!!!! Horrible experience... one of the worst experiences I have ever lived. Do not recommend. If the cheese they served was like this, imagine everything else and how they prepare their food?!?! This place is DANGEROUS!!!

OK this way here for sure is my new favorite takeout spot. I had the Pescado à lo macho, and it was exactly like the time that I was in Peru. I will definitely be ordering here again
