Really good service. Friendly. The food was good, Wish they had small packet taco sauce from original restaurants in the past. Salsa and taco sauce is still good. The dining area is cool with stripes on the wall that give it a nostalgic vibe. Street and parking lot area to park. Went during lunch time on a Friday and was surprisingly empty. Prices are not bad, not cheap but decent. Taco Burgers are good. Fries are crisp. So my daughter and tried the original tacos and the chili cheese fries. 5 stars for both of them and will definitely be back for more. The green sauce is pretty good. Customer service is awesome also.

First time trying a Naugles. My hubby used to go all the time as a kid. We had the Hombre Nachos, and it was super yummy.

Was a cool blast from the past! Nostalgic but better than I remember because even though they had the favorite recipes, they enhanced them and had some tasty homemade taco sauce. Phenomenal service. Incredibly welcoming and friendly. This would be a place to invest your lunchtime and your money! I think they are looking to expand...??

This place is my favorite taco and things spot. Get the OG tacos, they're huge and amazing. I made the drive from deep in the heart of San Diego just to eat at Naugles. They did better than the original Naugles and the people are friendly as could be. I couldn't recommend any establishment more. 100 mile one way drive can't stop me from getting tacos from here. Stop by and find out why I would drive 200 miles for tacos.

I've been coming to the test kitchen location for several years and have had relatively good experiences and food. Naugles is a Mexican fast food brand that got revived years ago after closing down back in the late 1990s. They serve a unique menu of Mexican and American food ranging from tacos and burritos to burgers and chili cheese fries and cheese burrito. There has always been good service at this location but I feel it's becoming dated and could use some touchups and maintenance. They have also recently run out of certain food items on certain times that I've stopped by which is unfortunate but it isn't a common occurrence. The burritos here are good with plenty of filling and variety of options including breakfast and I enjoy getting their chili cheese fries from time to time. Their tacos are similar to Del Taco or Taco Bell but they also have street tacos which are surprisingly decent. An okay spot to check out for Mexican/American food.

Got the crunchy tacos and fries. I was really surprised the Taco was deep-fried, but in a good way. It did not fall apart like I was expecting in a good way. The Taco was definitely worth the price. The fries could use a season salt of some type. The only bad was not enough seating to take the family. Well done. I will be back.
This location is odd and the restaurant is very small, but the food was really good. The bun taco meat was well seasoned and the lettuce and tomato were fresh. My husband's burrito was also really good. This was like the original Naugles, which was always much better quality than other fast food Mexican restaurants. If we lived closer we would come here often.

Wonky hours and a cranky cashier made the last visit to the Fountain Valley Naugles more challenging than it should have been. It was more complicated to order inside than it was to do the drive-thru which I did my first time here. It took about five minutes to get my order taken when I went inside. Cashier must have been on a break because the cook eventually took my order. He was a champ. After I put in my order the cashier came into the picture to help the next customer. The customer asked the cashier how she was and she said, "Horrible" and meant it. The customer was silenced at that point. Small dining area inside, a spacious patio area if you prefer to eat outside as I usually do. This time I ate in my car. It was cleaner than the tables, ha ha. Food- the best deal is the kids meal which was five bucks. My favorite item is the cheese burrito. So good. The combo burrito was tasty but was really salty. Crispy taco was great, too. I enjoyed my food at this Naugles and look forward to trying the Stanton location someday. For the record, the rebooted Naugles really is its own beast. It really didn't taste the same as my memories. That's OK.
