Sushi was so bomb. Fair warning, if you are looking for a traditional sushi experience where the fish quality is the star of the show, this is not it. Not to say the food is not fresh, but most of the dishes are lathered in sauce and creamy ingredients, and we like in that way. We liked all the sushi we had, so just go with what you think is your favorite ingredients. I like that our waitress tells us the name of all the sushi that came out.

It's so nice that a restaurant for sushi delivery actually takes care about your order arriving well! I'm always searching to find a good sushi restaurant that delivers because often the sushi doesn't hold up but Omoi Sushi really cares about your order arriving great! Each of the 3 rolls that I ordered were individually packaged in a small container so it didn't roll around and stayed nice. What was most impressive was that I ordered mochi (dangerous for delivery I know in 85 degree weather!) however I was SUPER IMPRESSED that my mochi arrived frozen and in perfect condition because Omoi Sushi packed it in ice! Even though my house took 25min for delivery (Fountain Valley to Newport Beach) the mochi ice cream (chocolate, green tea, mango & strawberry) arrived perfectly! Impressive!!

This is such a nice find. It's a small, cozy restaurant with very good, cost-efficient Japanese food. The Poke Bowl is a must-try as well as their bento boxes.Don't have high expectations with service, staffing is quite limited. But this place if perfect for our quick meals if we don't want to cook at home.

What a gem! A great sushi spot tucked away in a quiet plaza. Good selection and reasonable prices. I enjoyed the spicy tuna roll and mixed tempura. The miso soup was slightly salty, but I actually liked it like that. I came here for late lunch, and there were maybe 3 or 4 other groups there. It seemed kinda dark inside, but no big deal. Our waitress was very friendly. Overall, I had a great experience and would come back!

Omoi is good I've tried a lot sushi's here. The orange blossom, the spider, the lion king and other more. There are still a few more I'd like to try. The service is great here and the ambiance here is cute and small

The food was good, almost everything was good. The hot green tea I ordered tasted "funky." In my opinion, cream cheese doesn't belong in sushi. Not a fan of their one too many sushi options with cream cheese. The spicy garlic Edemame were quite tasty and the item I liked the most. I'm don't eat very spicy and I was able to tolerate all the spicy items we ordered. Hence, if you are looking for spicy, ask for extra spicy.

I went here just last week after a day at Huntington Beach, and wow!!!Omoi sushi came appealing to me at first due to the reasonably cheap prices for their food, which they offer a variety of on their menu (udon, bento, ramen, yakisoba, sashimi, etc). And I would definitely say I WILL be coming back! The sushi was very tasty, so good especially their baked lion king roll which I HIGHLY recommend. I also got the golden philly roll as well, so yummy!!! Mixed tempura was my appetizer, and once again, so delicious :) This place beats a lot of other sushi joints I have tried that are MORE expensive than here. Service was very good, the waitresses are super attentive/kind and food comes out fairly fast. The atmosphere is nice and small, perfect for your typical sushi place.
