The onions and cilantro mix was old.I asked for the guacamole on the side and they forgot, so we had to asked them about our guacamole.Also the tables were not clean and it is kind of a small location so it is kind of cramp.Parking: This locations near the restaurant has about 20 spots for three restaurants.

This is overall a decent location for Rubio's Coastal Grill. One of the best places for taco Tuesday as rarely do you see fish and steak tacos for $2 and shrimp tacos for $3 in the high inflation era that is 2023. Place is a bit too crowded for me to eat at on a taco Tuesday, so plan to get to go. The app is pretty flawless and offers good rewards. The vibe of the place just doesn't scream cantina or fun taco eating atmosphere, so I wouldn't say you're missing out getting to go. I'd say a drawback is that service can sometimes be a bit inconsistent. I've had the wrong burritos in my order before or limes not put in with the tacos (inconsistency possibly from high turnover of employees-- seems to be always new staff when I don't go a while). Salsa bar is very consistent and has an outdoor patio area that never is crowded.

I keep going back but every time I'm disappointed. I always get take out, and 90% of the time the order isn't right. And the bowls are getting smaller even though prices are going up. I ordered a California bowl with langostino and paid extra for extra langostino. There was not only not any extra langostino, but it was very skimpy. I'm done with this place.

My coworker was going to do a lunch run to Rubio's and offered to pick something up for me. I took her up on her offer - but since I was going to eat in my office, I figured I'd not get fish in case it was smelly, so I picked a California Bowl with chicken - boy, what a big mistake that was. Unfortunately, it wasn't very good at all! The chicken was really dry, the rice was supposed to be a citrus rice, but it was just white rice, everything was very bland, the guac had no seasoning and I didn't understand the purpose of sprinkling lettuce in the bowl - ?? The lettuce was very random - I would take a bite of rice and beans, and would get a stray leaf of lettuce. It just didn't seem to work. If I wanted a salad, I would have ordered a salad.But I can't complain too much because I really shouldn't have had too high of an expectation from a fish place serving chicken. Lesson learned, I should just stick to fish tacos if I go to Rubio's.

$16 for a burrito and drink I can honestly say I'm never coming back. If your charging 13 plus dollars for a burrito please make sure it is good. Portions also do not match the price tag. For reference I tried the beer battered burrito. It was bland, lacked flavor, and size more closely resembles a big taco and not so much a burrito. My advice is go try some beer battered burritos out there and you will see the difference. Also this review is not meant to be negative it is just a snapshot of an experience and I hope that changes can be made within to minimize this feeling of unsatisfaction that I will now have to endure until dinner time.
