Nice meat quality. Thin cuts. Love their Prime grade beef. Self serve vegetable/seafood island lots of choices. Most important to mention is their meat quality does not downgraded lower after my 2nd or more order. Highly recommend this Shabu-shabu restaurant. Leaving with a very full and satisfied experience.

First time to Shabuya, and by far I'm not a conisseur of this method of restaurant dining. However, if you are adventurous to cook your own food with a casual setting, loud music and crowds, the line was short late afternoon but very long into the evening. All you can eat in 90 minutes. Sticky tables from busy use and not a place if shell-fish allergy. Community Serving tongs at self-service food buffet which you cook in a choice broth at table. Popular location.

First time trying this Shabu style of preparing food. What a great place to meet freinds and grub it up. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Wait staff was very attentive to our table. That means a lot. The selections were abundant and fresh. For those of you who have discovered and frequent this establishment congratulations. Not sure how long Shabuya has been around, but they have a great restaurant here in Fountain Valley. Menu spells it out. Not more I can add here.

Food was great. Plenty of soup base selections that are good and many sauce options. Meats were so thinly sliced for a good shabu shabu experience. Recommend this place. And never seen the different prices based on your height but makes sense. Kids want to be tall to get on the summer rides but better be short at this place!

We came here on my bday an hr before they were closing, after spending a whole day at Disney California Adventure Park. We wanted some noodles and boy, did we pick a great place to end our day! The food was great! The server we had was awesome and attentive. Highly recommend coming here if you want some good hotpot! The only downside is that because we came later, they had last call 30mins after we sat down and basically hurried us to finish everything to leave because they were closing. So, make sure to come a bit earlier to fully enjoy your meal!

Who loves an ayce shabu shabu? My family does! My boys can eat and I know my wife can eat 4 times more than me. We usually come here during lunch time and pay the $20 per person price. The staff are very friendly and very informative. Most of the time they are coming around frequently if we wanted to order more meat but in some occasion we got to flag them down. I guess it depends on how busy it gets. They also have a self serve area where you can pick up seafood and veggie items, including all the sauces. Hands down, Shabuya is our family favorite place to get shabu shabu. Fortunately, there are many locations to choose from and even one in Vegas and I'd recommend the Vegas location. Bon appetite everyone.

An AYCE hot pot buffet? Yes please! It's also very reasonably priced at $28.99/person. There are a good selection of quality meats and 5 different broths to choose from. The tonkotsu and spicy miso broths are my favorite. At the buffet bar, there are plenty of vegetables, noodles, seafood, and sauces for you to choose from and it's all self-serve. The customer service is attentive. The ambiance is pretty busy and noisy, but that didn't bother me at all. I've been here a couple of times already and I will definitely keep coming back!

First time eating here. Food was delicious. Food area was clean. Went 2 hours before closing. First hour was nice. About an hour before closing the music was loud. Like you were at a club. The music was not appropriate. Explicit songs were playing. Kids were around. Some employees you can see singing with the songs. Will be back. But not at those hours.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly after 9pm

Came here with a friend on Dec. 21, 2023 at around 6pm and probably received the worst service I've ever had at a Shabu spot. From the moment we sat down at our table, our server seemed rushed - and that is understandable since it is during the dinner crowd right before Christmas. However, during the course of our entire meal, she only came to our table 2x FOR AN ALL YOU CAN EAT. We see her busy at all the other tables, while no one came to our table during our entire meal. We only saw her 2x after seating us and that was to: 1. Bring us our 1st round of meat 2. Tell us we have 15 minutes left and if we wanted more meat She never gave us rice, we never got water refills, our broth got soooo salty since it didn't get a broth refill, and we only had 1 1/2 rounds of meat. When she came by the 2nd time, she told us "you have 15 minutes left, do you want anymore meat?". She brings us only half our meat order, and me and my friend are pretty much forced to inhale all that meat as fast as possible. She comes by minutes later and tells us we need to pay now and leave since she has other tables to wait on. Unbelievable. I'm Asian so I'm used to crap service. But this is a Shabu spot for goodness sakes!!! While the food is tasty, I don't understand why me and my friend were treated like second-class citizens. She was clearly attending her time to bigger tables and since it was just me and one friend - she didn't care. I guess...get your bread girl. I'm still mad that we paid full price but we barely got a meal. Our friends live around here, but they always insist on going to Broth all the way in Cerritos. Now we know why. TLDR; Food is good, but if you come with 1 other person - expect to never see your server. Paid $40 but only got 1 1/2 rounds of meat. Practically choked on my food because our server insisted we had to eat our entire round of meat in 5 mins and to GTFO. Unbelievable service.

I went on a Saturday around 9:30pm and the place was not that packed! There were plenty of parking available and my party and I were seated in less than a minute. It was pretty standard as a AYCE Shabu place! There were basically 2 appetizers which were gyoza and variations of karaage and our favorite were the glazed karaage! Like a lot of shabu places, there's a seafood and veggie table in the middle where we can choose what we want to put in our shabu dish. The options were standard although there were not a lot of sides and sauces to choose from. We tried every meat option and it was pretty good! Overall, I do believe there are better shabu places out there, but this was not bad! I wish there were more sides and sauce options out for the price we paid. In my opinion, other shabu places has something that makes it different and special from other shabu places, but I felt this one had nothing that made it stand out. Food: 7/10 Price: 4/10 (Felt that the price was too expensive for the food options available)Service: 8/10Ambiance: 9/10
