A reviewer said it's the best, so we went. The Pad Thai was good, but my favorite dish has always been the Pineapple Fried Rice. So I thought it was safe to order it after all. How different could it taste one restaurant to another? Wrong. I was expecting the balance of the sweet pineapple with the savory flavors of all the other ingredients. It actually tasted sour and had a slight flavor of burnt chicken. Had I not been starving, I would not have eaten it. I forced myself to eat it. Then I ordered the Mango Sticky Rice, hoping for the best, but no. It was ok at best. It was packed because the service was slow because of the crowd, but they were friendly. The place is elegant, but the flavors did not do it for me.

I went to this place for dinner with few of my office friends. I already like thai food and had been to really good thai restaurants. This restaurant is one of the best I have tried. Everything from apetizers to curry to rice was delicious.Fried garlic fish, garlic shrimp, crab fried rice, panang curry were tasty.Service, ambiance and pricing was also good.If you are in the area and crave thai food, i would strongly recommend.

The place seems like a nice hidden gem. With a relaxing looking outside patio to eat as well as a welcoming inside as well. Wasn't too impressed with the pineapple curry I got compared to other Thai restaurants. I will definitely be going back to check out how the rest of the food is and give it a second try just because of the atmosphere itself.

Best Thai food I’ve ever had. I definitely recommend the cashew nut chicken and the crying tiger. How did you get? They have great egg, fried rice and egg rolls.

It was very good food when first opened. We would eat there sometimes every week or more... it was tasty, spicy and fresh the way good Thai food is...now don't bother going. We had dinner there few months ago...terrible. the meat was dry, tough, bland...chicken was boiled, absolutely no taste; pork same, beef if u could even find in the dish was ridiculously small size. Last nite I thought we should give one more try, and guess what? It's worse. Now the portions are even smaller, the curry is overwhelmingly flavored with sweetened coconut milkThe can light in the ceiling above our table kept blinking on and off throwing our table into half darkness and blinding brightness every 92 seconds. Typical Asian indifference and passivity from the waitress when I complained about the light. She said she would check the light switch. I know Asian passivity since my lovely wife and son are Asian. They say I am brutal honest beatch. We love Asian restaurants, But not Thai by fire on Brookhurst..Too bad. Another victim of silly government pandemic I guess. R I P.

This used to be one of our favorites - we ate here weekly, but we noticed that the quality of the food has declined significantly and today asked the server if there were new owners and the answer was yes. I also noticed on the bill that the name was Thai on Fire. It’s sad because we were friends with the servers and they knew us by name, but they are all gone, and the quality of the food, even the appetizers isn’t what it was.

They accommodate my diet restrictions and food taste super goodDietary restrictions: They always accommodate my gluten free and no hot spice diet. It is the only place I can eat Thi food and feel they really give me what I ordered
