Consistency is one of the main aspects I look for in eating out with friends and family. Going to Haidilao is not only consistent, but the quality behind all factors of their restaurant has always been excellent. With hot pot, the broth used can be a make or break scenario especially to those who go to certain chains frequently. The diverse choices and amounts of customizing broths to fine tune your experience has been one of my favorite options. One last thing; Ice cream being include with the meal has always been a nice touch. Compared even to the Cupertino location, there are more choices here in Fremont.

So yummy!! Very easy process to order all on the ipad. Service is really fast. They have a bar for your sauces and even chocolate fountain. So fun. Will come again.

Came here for a team offsite with more than 20 people and they seated us across 3 tables. Service was excellent, food quality is great, sauce bar had a great selection. They provide bibs to protect your clothes, as well as hair ties and cell phone covers. Overall had an amazing meal here.

Haidilao is definitely the 5 star experience for dining. The customer service is top notch. You get treated like a celebrity here You have to go to the restroom. It feels like a high end Experience ! It is on the pricier side but definitely worth the price The food was good but the experience leaves an impression on you .

Pro tip: Book your reservation on Google. You'll receive reminders via text and it'll be added to your calendar. So much FUN, high energy, and sensory overload! The best service and food quality. I love selection of desserts and sauces, which are $4 extra per person but it's worth it. The restroom amenities and robot server give Haidilao a tech company vibe. This place operates on top notch service and efficiently. I LOVE this place for the food and immaculate service. After coming here 3+ times, I'm giving it 5 stars!

WOWWWWW what wealth! What service! I've been to a HaiDiLao in China before but this one is MILESSS better. Not only do they have a self-service counter for dipping sauce and fruit but they also have a dessert station (with a fondue machine). It doesn't end there - they also have a robot who brings your order to the table! Very cool experience. Although it is on the pricey side, I would recommend going just to experience the robot if you haven't already. This place is for large groups. I went with a group by 4 and the table seemed too big for us. I'd recommend going in groups of 5-6 to really fill out the table. There's also nice touches in the restaurant in terms of provided hairbands, lotions, mouthwash, etc. in the restroom. I'm sure there's more that I missed but overall a very nice experience. At the time I went they also had free soup base for members. You could get multiple bases so check in with your server to see if they have any deals!

My first time trying a "high end" hot pot spot. (After a lifetime of all-you-can-eat depravity.) So it was on to the trepid waters of pay per dish; thankfully, it didn't disappoint. I was worried about the catastrophic reviews from a while ago about their poor service, but it's pretty apparent they've worked out the kinks. Or maybe I happened to get a tremendous server. Thank you, Xing! I hope the rest of the staff is as sharp, patient and attentive as you! It was a classic instance of eyes bigger than the stomach in our case. We ordered so much, they had to stack some of the food on the hanging sanitizer/accessory shelves. If fact, there was so much, we neglected to notice that the tray of prime ribeye was underneath the Kobe beef belly tray until the end! Had to rush to cook the ribeye as it was ticking down to pumpkin time. The food is really fresh. Again, it's not AYCE. So instead of bang for the buck, you pay buck for the bang. But it's worth it for the most part in that you won't find this quality and freshness at an AYCE place. Here are the highlights: *Spicy Bone Broth Base--especially good after boiling all the meaty flavor into the soup at the end of the night. *Kobe Beef Belly--you can't lose with Kobe beef and some kind of belly. *Prime Ribeye--wonderfully fatty as you can imagine, but since this and the Kobe beef are major wallet dents, and a good trade off, probably good enough to chose one or the other. *Udon noodles--thick enough to last longer without turning to mush if you leave it too long in the pot. *Taro--absorbs the soup flavors well. But fish it out before it crumbles from over cooking! *Pak (Little Bak?) choy--cause we all need our veggies. *Assorted Seafood Combo--for a good sampling of ocean dwelling fare: Fish filets, shrimp, mussels, baby octopus, scallops and crab-claw like triangle thingees (yeah, I have no idea). The $3 (ok, $2.99) sauce station charge seems a bit "high" on the price point (Tastee Steam Kitchen in Oaktown is free and similar), but it's also expansive and well-stocked. I would say overall, the food and selection is a four. But it's gets the 5th star bump for the experience (energetic vibe, those near-sentient robobots) and the elite service.

Another amazing meal at this location when I have friends in town to order a lot for a selection of choices. Its definitely fun to go with friends so you can really try a nice portion of the menu items. I love to get the lamb, tofu assortment and mushroom one as well. I was a little disappointed they didn't have enoki on the mushroom platter this time, but it's fine.. everything else was so great, I forgot about it. My friend's who are from China also got some of the things they are more accustomed to :) We got the Tom yum, spicy, bone broth and a water for our broths. The spicy and Tom yum I LOVE but I wish they had offered to add more water to the broths when they got cooked down, which they normally do here. I love the flavor when it's less liquid but it does end up being salty and one of my friends was pretty thirsty this morning (He also ate more than me). I really enjoyed the kimchi they had on the sauce bar this time.. was disappointed that there wasn't wakame but it was a fun change and I went back for seconds and even ate a little of one of my friends. Overall, amazing evening with friends with good food and I will be back without a doubt! Best hot pot in Fremont, imo :) *Ohh also, their Dan Dan noodles are a really good side dish and a great price! So if you like that, always get one to share!*

Great to have Abel servicing us tonight! Definitely one of the best experiences I've had while having hotpot! Check out this place if you ever want to try hotpot!

There is always a wait at this place, so it's recommended you make a reservation (might have to call as I don't see any yelp waitlist here). The estimated wait given to us was 30min to 1 hour, but we got seated in half an hour. They offer snacks & tea while you wait :) The service for this place can be a hit or miss. The host sounded a bit aggressive and impatient when we told them we had 4 people and the table was set for 3. Rushed to have us sit down. Food is good as always though, but they didn't have the dancing noodle this time - they said all their staff hurt their backs. There are lots of people celebrating birthdays here. They hold a birthday sign and a Bluetooth speaker playing happy birthday song. There's also a little birthday gift. Gift depends on whether it's an adult or kid. We got two short glass cups before. Lastly, if you bring kids, they also provide small toys and free kid's set for your little ones, so sweet!

Kind of have to give it up to Haidilao Hot Pot. I've actually been to one, many years ago, back in Xi'an China and I didn't think much of it. But back in China, there are so many hot pot restaurants that you really don't think much of it. When I heard that Haidilao opened up in Cupertino and one was opening up in Fremont, again... I didn't think much of it. But eventually we decided to pay a visit. My oh my how the times have changed. With robotic servers, extremely nice and friendly staff, always stocked up sauce bar, and just an over all great attention to detail and staff, I was kind of blown away by my experience and visit to Haidilao in Fremont. Yes, they charge quite a bit for your food, including visits to the sauce bar, but the service was on point, the sauce area was kept clean and stocked, the food was quite tasty and presented well and overall it was a very good experience. My wife and I have already discussed our next visit where we would bring other family members that enjoy hot pot. Fun times!

We love it here! They even celebrate birthdays in a colorful way! We have been here twice with family, its a good place to enjoy food and quality time. If you are vegetarian/vegan, there are so many options! And everything tastes so good! PS If you are sensitive to smell, the indoors might smell a bit of seafood when busy, but we went when there was no rush and it wasn't bad. They also provide outdoor dining which is great!

Wow this spot is amazing. It is a bit rough on the wallet, but it is a nice spot to go to once in awhile. I highly reccommend to reserve your spot because the wait can be long if you don't!! You have many different types of soup bases to choose from. The nice part is that you can split between the two. This is not AYCE so you can see why it is a bit pricey. We got the prime ribeye and a bunch of veggies. Man look at that marbling. Probably one of the highest quality meat for hotpot. You have to try it atleast once because it is worth it.

Spectacular food and amazing service!!! Haidilao is incomparable to other hot pot places because it's in a league of it's own! I made a reservation here for 4:30 PM on a Sunday and to my surprise the place was pretty empty. Service: The service here is great! We were greeted right away when we came and our server was so attentive! He checked in on us multiple times while eating, changed our plates, and gave us more napkins. He even offered me a hair tie at the beginning of the meal. He didn't even let me pour my own water! The service is that good, no complaints at all. You can order off an ipad and the food is delivered to you via robot waiter. Food: The food here is delicious. Let's start with the soup bases. There are many bases to choose from and I wanted to try everything! I recommend the following bases: -House Spicy Beef: Delicious and Mildly Spicy. Most of the spice is from the oil on the top. The broth itself is not as spicy. -Thai Tom Yum: This is my favorite! Spicy, sweet, & Sour! Comes with 2 shrimps! -Chicken Soup Base: For those who can't handle spice. Very mild! -Tomato Soup: A classic, can't be replaced. Protein: USDA Prime Ribeye & A5 Ribeye is my favorite! Get the lobster ball and fish ball with roe as well! Soft serve for dessert is included. So good! Why I deducted a star: -Sauce Bar: the sauce bar is big and there is plenty of sauces to choose from, but there is an additional charge ($2.99) for the "Seasoning Buffet" that is automatically added to your tab without your knowledge. -Amenities: Bathroom doesn't offer combs or toothbrushes/toothpaste that other locations have. They do offer sunscreen and dry shampoo. -Entertainment: No noodle dancers when I asked to order the dancing noodles. They said it was unavailable. No face changing show Even though it was the weekend. Overall, this place is still levels above other hot pot places in terms of service and food quality. I would recommend coming here to enjoy a nice date night or a family dinner.
