I ordered the Tonkasu ramen. It didnt show up on the various menus but was on the website and the staff said it was on the digital menu orderer. After I ordered and paid for it, I sat down.Seating is a long narrow area with surprisingly uncomfortable, low, chairs.I gave them a one star rating because of the delay in food delivery. About 5 minutes later a staffer came over and said it was going to be 35 minutes more for my order to be ready!!!There were only 3 tables seated and most had their food. Only one woman was in line ordering. Why the delay? I read other reviews and this delay seems to be a chronic problem. Hey manager what's the problem? Those wait times are unacceptable and you are losing customers. This was my first time there and I wont bother to come back. Also they dont have drink machine, so you just get it from the staff. I dont know if they have free refills or not. The staff members themselves were very polite and apologetic. The problem is in the kitchen apparently. And the management.

Ramen toppings are pretty flavorful, broth is basically tasteless. Takoyaki was standard, pretty good. Milk tea is also good, if a bit sweet despite asking for lower sweetness level.

Our barista was very very friendly and helpful. It was an absolute joy of an experience that I dream about at night. My wonderful barista made me feel at home and reminded me of my own mother with her flowing ponytail and lovely demeanor who died in a car accident two years ago. It is safe to say I will be coming back!!!!

Really impressive presentation and packing for just meh food.I love masubi and their menu offered some decadent options. But rice is one of the main ingredients, and their rice was mushy and lacked any kind of flavor. Where was the sauce? Or even sushi rice? Some vinegar even? Bland, mushy rice with good masubi toppings... just does not make good masubi, especially for the price.Fried chicken was also bland and although we ordered fries extra crispy, they were still undercooked a little bit.No plans to give this place another try.

Every time I order ahead they make my order early. I set my order time for 7pm and they had it ready by 6:40. When I got there my food was already room temperature. Don’t order ahead, they won’t respect your request time.

I have mixed feelings about this place. It's location is in the busy part of Fremont so I don't think I can see myself making the drive back to order. I think the number one thing that attracted me to this place is the overall presentation of the food. I wasn't entirely sure if this place just primarily focused on potato type dishes with its name.. but it seems like they serve other things as well and was more like a boba shop & eats? I know many boba shops these days don't serve food along with boba so I guess that's the one nice thing about this place. You can definitely grab snack and/or lunch with some boba here. I ordered their basil popcorn chicken, garlic onion waffle fries and a regular Hong Kong milk tea because I was feeling simple that day. I feel like we have so many boba places that boba just feels like boba to me LOL. Basil popcorn chicken came in a huge box for its price but I feel like I've had better. Waffle fries were great at first and loved the crunchiness but after awhile, it tastes dry and you don't really taste any strong flavors of garlic onion on it.Would love to try again for other boba flavors and/or other food items on their menu but I don't think I'm in much of a rush to come back yet.

This place has been on my bookmarks on Yelp for quite some time, and when I finally had a chance I decided to stop by. Everyone talks about the wide range of drinks and snacks that they have and it did not disappoint. We tried the popcorn chicken, spiral potato (potato tornado), traditional jian bing, and 2 drinks. I loved their crème brûlée matcha it was delicious! They give you a mini shovel and you eat the crème brûlée then drink the matcha. Definitely going back again to try more drinks like the Oreo tornado. A Sack of Potatoes - Fremont location37100 Fremont Blvd, Suite #3C, Fremont, CA 94536(510) 896-8070

Yogurt Mango & Strawberry Half Sugar 60% (4/5): this was a good sweetness and the the strawberry and mango is a good mixPotato Tornado (3/5) pretty good but I'd prefer it crispierPopcorn Chicken Mild-Spicy (4/5) this was surprisingly good. Good spicy flavor and it used dark meat so it's juicier. Do agree with some of the other reviews that it has a bit more batter in some pieces. But the batter to chicken ratio for my order I got was good overall though!Cream Brulee Matcha Half Sugar 60%; Less Ice (4/5) the creme brûlée has good flavor and texture. It's nice that it's at the top of the drink and comes with a fun shovel. Traditional Chinese Crepe (3.75/5) one of the better ones around the Bay Area that I've tried . Looking to try more. Taking recs.

Everything I've tried so far has always been delicious. Our go-to snacks are the popcorn chicken and the musubis. The popcorn chicken has a good crunch. The unagi musubis are also delicious. I like how they come in threes. Bc sometimes 2 is just not enough lol. Another good dish here is the wonton soup. It's a pretty big portion. You can easily share this with 2 people. And the bbq beef crepe is also tasty.
