This is the worse service I have ever experienced. I call in to order Togo at 11:00am and they told me 30 mins since I have a big order. I was at the restaurant at 11:15am. They told me to come back and I told them that I will wait in the car and when the food is ready, they can call me. I return to the restaurant at 12:00pm because they didn't call me. My order is not ready. There are not many people here waiting for food. But my order is not ready. And now is 12:35pm. I just got my order after call. In at 11:00am and wait here for 1 hr and 20 mins in person. And can it get any worse than this. Got home and start eating the spare ribs, chicken feet and steam buns, they are spoiled. I have been their customer for a long time and have loved their food. I couldn't believe they serve spoiled food to people even during this time.

This is a huge restaurant so there is never any waiting time. The parking is somewhat of a problem especially in the evening. The place is clean, people are good, OK. The sea food dishes are excellent and service is quite fast. It has an OK ambiance. Reasonable price except for high end stuff if you choose live sea food. Impersonal which is OK, never empty and never full!

Hi. You've got to check this place out! Insane awesome service from the moment I entered. Incredibly sweet welcoming with wonderful smiles and upbeat personalities. The girl who said hello was very willing to provide the best customer experience for me that night. I didn't want to leave thanks to her. I wish I could've stayed. I was picking up a take out order and needed to jam out and deliver it unfortunately. Next time I visit I will definitely stay and eat. Hopefully will be greeted the same way. I'm sure I will. They or at least 'she' rocked! (Didn't get a name-bummer) I'd love to go back again. David

Woo hoo! 1000th review for Asian Pearl! I have been eating dim sum at this restaurant for over 6 or 7 years. In fact, I've probably gone at least 10 times within the last year. It's a go-to spot - conveniently located in Fremont, and very accessible with huge amounts of parking. This place is busy on the weekends but they open early, so if you're down for an early lunch around 11, you can beat the crowd and you don't have to wait. The last 4-5 times I've gone, I've arrived at 11 and only had to wait 5 minutes or so. This is really the asian version of brunch - you can have it for breakfast or for lunch. The quality here has gone up as of late, in my opinion. Everything tastes fresher and hotter, and less questionable. The cleanliness of the restaurant is the same over the years. The waiters and waitresses are prompt, and they provide to you hot mustard and hot sauce upon request. My go to orders are the shrimp rice noodle thing (idk how to write this stuff in english lol), the turnip cake, the tsu mai, the ha gao, the steamed pork, and the sesame buns and egg tarts. Idk what people expect at this hella asian restaurant. There's not gonna be 5 star service - the people here work hard and they dont give a s*** about whether you want their food or not - they'll just keep walking. Don't be afraid to be politely aggressive to get what you want. And if what you want hasn't come around in a cart lately, just ask one of the waitstaff. They're perfectly nice and will go get it for you by hand. Mmmm..now I'm hungry.

A group of twelve of us went to this restaurant for lunch. It was great! They have very good variety of Dim Sum plus Seafood Dishes. We had all of their standard Har Gar, Sieu mai, etc. all of them were very fresh and tasty. We also had a whole fried chicken (Cantonese Style) that was excellent- crispy on the outside and tender inside. The Veggies were really fresh and tasty. Service was also excellent, our waiters were always around to help changing dishes and adding hot water for tea, etc. The manager came around several times also to make sure we were OK. Prices seem reasonable also.

Some of the best Dim Sum around. Very spacious on the inside, and great service.

The cute mango pudding pigs are adorable. The BBQ pork buns were delicious. The rest of the food is pretty on par with the super popular places in Oakland or San Francisco Chinatown. Food comes out at a pretty fast rate on the carts and there is a good variety.

best dim sum place in east bay

Food quality and customer service are much better than before; however, pricing is, of course, higher than before as well. It all depends if you are willing to pay more for the above two.

Food is excellent, service is a bit hit or miss, best if you have someone who can communicate natively with the servers.

They offer a nice variety of fresh food. I like eating here. The employees are always super nice, rates are convenient and the place is always kept clean.

OK food. Deep fried crab and walnut shrimp dishes were the best from the menu we tried tonight.

Solid Hong Kong style dim sum. Lots of carts, massive space, fast service. Price is a bit higher than Cupertino favorites, but it's delicious and not excessive. Lot's of fresh food being passed around. Lots of dumpling choices. Love the little pear shaped nugget with pork inside.

This past weekend my family held a private party of 60 people. We chose this location because the food and price was fair. The manager and my mother agreed on various terms regarding pricing before the event. Come the day of the event, the food was absolutely horrible. The dishes we had sampled prior tasted nothing like what was served the day of the event. The main waiter had a bad attitude the entire time. It was clear in his face and demeanor that he despised his job. It's unfortunate that his service was so horrible yet he received an 18.5% service fee. Finally when it was time to check out, the manager completely switched up on us. The terms we agreed on was not respected initially. He eventually disputed it after a good 20 minutes of arguing. Long story short--don't hold an event here unless you don't mind crappy food and service. And if you do decide to have an event here make sure all of the details are written in the contract because you cannot trust their word.
