Tried their Dole pineapple sorbet. Tastes exactly like what you can purchase in Hawaii. You order via a touchscreen and they call your name when your order is ready. Atmosphere is a bit noisy but family friendly. Parking can be a problem at dinner time.

Following our delightful dining experience at the Port of Peri Peri, we ventured to Cauldron for some ice cream. Intrigued by their charming designs and innovative use of liquid nitrogen, we were eager to indulge. Our selections, the Cauldron and the Sea Salted Caramel, did not disappoint. While the sea salted caramel lacked a bit in both saltiness and caramel flavor, its texture was impeccable. However, it was the Cauldron, bearing the store's namesake, that stole the show. Its execution was nothing short of perfection.

Pretty tasty ice cream! I got the cauldron which was a cinnamon ice cream with crushed oreos on top. my favorite thing about this ice cream was that it was almost a gelato. very thick and creamy, but you can tell it's still an ice cream & not a gelato. it was a nice hybrid.i also got the pineapple express. this was not official dole whip, but a close cousin to it. it was definitely "whipped" consistency and a little more airy/icey than the other ice cream i got.the place was out of the waffle puff cones when i was there so i was forced to have it in cups, but a solid, yummy dessert nonetheless.

Really yummy ice cream in a warm Puffle cone. The cone is heated so that it's warm and toasty against the cold ice cream. Really tasty combination. I like how you can break off each piece of toasted waffle on the Puffle cone with a spoon and eat it with each bite of ice cream. Perfect hot and cold pairing. So delicious! They have several unique flavors of ice cream including tea flavors, Vietnamese coffee flavor along with your standard sea salt caramel, strawberry, chocolate, etc.Clerk is nice. Bathroom is clean. A small shop but there are a few tables available if you choose to eat there.

Short review since we came here after doing some shopping in the plaza. We noticed that this location was new and there weren't any people inside. I thought this location wasn't open yet since the lights are on but there wasn't anyone inside or going inside. We decided to go in and get some ice cream since we knew that Cauldron in San Jose was good. When we got in, there was no one at the front and no one eating inside. We actually had to say hello for someone to come out from the back.We ordered the ice cream we wanted but the guy who is working seemed like he was new and didn't really know how to do anything. He kept having to call someone to ask questions, which was a little concerning. We eventually got our ice cream after waiting a little bit and we decided to eat in the car since it was really cold inside. On our way out. There were more people coming in which is great!Unfortunately, the quality of this location was not up to par compared to the San Jose location. Our ice cream was very icy and a little hard. I'm thinking the person who made our ice cream didn't really know how or maybe he was too new because it definitely wasn't soft and creamy like the one at the San Jose location. We've been back in the plaza a few times but have never come back to this Cauldron. I think we will continue to go to the San Jose location.

What a treat it is for Fremont to get a special ice cream place like the Cauldron. I usually have to drive all the way to SJ or SF to get something that stands out like this. Not only are their flavors unique and noteworthy, but they're made fresh using liquid nitrogen! It is essentially the same concept as Smitten Ice Cream but with the addition of some Asian influenced flavors including Vietnamese Coffee and milk tea. My favorites so far are the Cauldron and Sun, Moon, and Stars. I love how the Cauldron tastes like the milk at the bottom of a bowl of Cinnamon toast crunch topped with Oreos which is a bangin' flavor combo. The Sun, Moon, and Stars is a blend of jasmine, oolong, and green milk tea that looks super cute and fun. The only thing that I would stay away from are the puffle cones. They look cool and taste alright, but as soon as that cold ice cream touches the hot surface of the freshly made puffle cone, it turns into a melted mess. If you're really craving it then I recommend getting it on the side. Overall, ice cream is rich in quality and tastes even better after seeing them make your order from scratch!
