It is overpriced, very small, outside look nice inside not really very small. No parking, the Bolani not tasty the chicken and beef is good, they use something to spray two clean the tables very bad oders. Our table last very strong bad smells after was cleaned. And the people next to us after they left they use the same spray to clean next our and smells very bad tooThey should use different kind of cleaner to cleaning the tables like other restaurants. This staff are very nice.

Chicken Kebab with Brown afghan basmati rice was delicious. Doogh is the yogurt drink that comes with cut cucumbers and is refreshing.

Authentic Afghani food. Nothing fancy but the food is excellent and if you arrive early, the wait is not too long.

Probably the worst restaurant I've been to in the last 5 years that I've been in the Bay Area (from a customer service point of view). We reached the restaurant around 8:20 pm and didn't get a seat until 9 pm (which is fine, it was a Friday night), but once we got a table we first ordered the Kado Borani and were told it is not available. So we then ordered the Potato Bolani and 3 other items. The 3 items came out fine, but after a while when we realised that the Potato Bolani hadn't come out we asked the server about the order to which he goes into the kitchen and then comes out and tells us they were out of the Bolani too (2 items unavailable by this point) and says he can give us free soda to compensate (seriously?). We then tell him we'd like to do a second order of something we had already ordered (since we clearly didn't have enough food on the table) and then he says, "Oh I'm sorry but the kitchen has closed" without even letting us know in advance that they were closing the kitchen and if we wanted to order something as a 'last order'. Then he tells us "Oh we will compensate you with a free dessert". We were clearly not happy but we decided to just get done and leave. At 9:50 pm though, they tell us we are closing the restaurant (hinting that we should leave, even though closing time is 10 PM) and while we were gathering our stuff and getting the 4 year old ready to leave they shut off the lights above our table (this is at 9:55 PM, so again, not 10 PM like their closing time mentions). Now, I've been at restaurants where they start loading the chairs at around closing time, but nobody tells us to "leave" before their official closing time and they DEFINITELY do not shut off the lights above our table. So, to summarise:1. One dish we ordered was not available.2. Second dish we ordered we were told is not available AFTER the kitchen closes.3. Not allowed to order anything else in place of the unavailable item because the kitchen closed and they did not mention it to us.4. They tell us to leave point blank.5. They shut off the lights above our table 5 minutes before their closing time while we are still there and getting ready to leave.HIGHLY HIGHLY unprofessional customer service! The restaurant owner should look into this and know that his restaurant isn't the only one in the Bay Area that serves good Afghan food. If you don't respect your customers, they'll find other places to go to, after all, the Bay Area has no dearth of good restaurants of all types of cuisine!

Very unexpected BAD experience? we reached restaurant exactly at 8.15pm, waiting on the queue for almost 30mins to get the table. When we got the table, we ordered our food then and there, time was 8.55pm, waiter did not mention us that kitchen will be closed soon. He took our order and started serving our food around 9.20pm. Around 9.30pm waiter was mentioning us 50% of our order is not available. We got disappointed, but as we were very hungry, we start to order alternative dishes. After 10mins, around 9.40pm waiter was co.ing back and telling us that kitchen is closed. So we were not able to get any food. We were 4 people and one 4years kid, all were coming back home with empty stomach. I strongly mentioned that - very POOR service, ZERO professionalism.Vegetarian options: Very limited vegetarian option
