This reminded me of Niloufar Cafe in Hyderabad with their irani chai and bun maska. The rumali roti shawarma was good as well.

Extremely rude staff member at the register. He clearly does not know how to treat customers. If over half the menu is out of stock and you dont give the customer time to redecide after waiting 10 mins in line, then how can you be rude to the customer at the point of purchase. I will not support businesses that treat customers with such disrespect

I ordered Haleem To Go, it was cold. Taste did not match to my standards.

This place is the new hit place in town. Food is great but the service is slow. Cooks could hurry a bit. We liked shawarma but the chicken 65 is average.

Irani chai and bun maska are really good and taste quite authentic. The other stuff is ok as well. The place is really small but brings in a lot of crowd-a good sign, but you're better off doing a takeout and eating in your car. Service can be slow during peak hours, if you order anything apart from bun maska and chai.

great irani chai (tip: i always ask to make it strong) & bun maska! Tried paneer 65 with rumali roti - it was okay, not a fan! you must try irani chai here, kind of must go!

Good concept, terrible execution. Was so excited to try bun maska and chai since it was very hyped, especially on instagram. I've been to Dishoom in London where they have delicious house-made bun maska and chai, so I had a good reference point. The bun here first of all was not house-made, it was bought from a "local vendor." I wouldn't be surprised if it comes from the Apni Mandi grocery store directly adjacent to this restaurant. They didn't even bother to toast it or anything before they gave it to us with cold butter. Absolutely terrible 0/10 rating. To add insult to injury, the chai was terrible too wayyy too sweet and just odd in flavor. I haven't tried to other food there, but after trying the bun maska and chai I've had enough already. The place also felt kind of grimy and dirty when we went with no staff bussing tables or anything. Instead they just had like a Costco rack that people were stacking their dirty dishes on. Felt unhygienic honestly. So sad I went out of my way to try this place.

We ordered a takeaway from Deccan Morsels as it was too crowded to dine in. The place has a good vibe and looked like a regular restaurant. I love their Irani chai and Bun Maska. We wanted to try their Rumali Paneer 65 wrap and it was the best Rumali I have ever had. I have visited this place multiple times and chai and rumali wrap have become my staple there. I highly recommend this place if you're in and around bay area. Make sure to call and place the order for takeaway and if you're dining in kindly go early as it's first come first serve.

Title: Exceptional Experience at Deccan Morsels! As a food enthusiast, I've had the pleasure of dining at Deccan Morsels in Fremont, and I must say, it was an extraordinary culinary journey. Being a Hyderabadi- "this place is as close as it gets to home" Let's talk about the star of the show - the Haleem. Oh, where do I even begin? The richness of flavors, the perfect balance of spices, and the melt-in-your-mouth texture left me speechless. It's evident that the chefs at Deccan Morsels have mastered the art of crafting this traditional dish with finesse. Each spoonful was a symphony of flavors that transported me to the streets of Hyderabad. Accompanying the Haleem was the Rumali Roti with chicken, a delightful combination that complemented each other perfectly. The Rumali Roti was soft, thin, and slightly crispy around the edges, providing the ideal vessel to savor the succulent chicken curry. Every bite was a harmonious blend of spices, creating a culinary masterpiece that delighted my taste buds. Moreover, the service at Deccan Morsels was impeccable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall dining experience. In conclusion, if you're craving authentic Hyderabadi cuisine that's bursting with flavor, look no further than Deccan Morsels. Whether you're a seasoned foodie or someone looking to explore new culinary horizons, this restaurant will exceed your expectations. Five stars without a doubt!

Best Hyderabad Haleem and food in town - tried their Morton Haleem very delicious and worth the try for the price

Deccan morsel is truly a spectacular find in the east bay. The place has probably the best food that one can find. Their Rumali Roti shawarma is the best I have eaten among the shawarma wraps hands down. The place is always super busy and occupied due to the fact that the food is outstanding. The mutton haleem which is newly introduced is a rare find in the United States. Most Haleem's are chicken or beef. But mutton haleem is the most authentic one can find in the U.S. The service and staff is very accommodating no matter what hour in the day you go. The ambiance is just great with the vibe of the Deccan living.

Good they are adding to their menu. Looking forward to the expanded restaurant soon. Hope the long wait is going to be managed?

The zafrani chai boasted a robust saffron flavor, while the romali roti with paneer offered a unique twist compared to the typical paneer rolls, which was quite enjoyable. However, be prepared for limited seating and long lines.

Chicken 65 and roti. The chicken is fresh and not over fried like you find elsewhere. Their irani chai is fantastic.
