went for "Fremont restaurant week" and great they participated because would most likely never know about the place and would not go there. Food was great and will come back there for sure. Tried their deal meal and also other dosa from the card and both were tasty and it was fun to eat it too.

This is my 3rd time visiting. The first time I visited was when they were newly opened (probably 4th day). The food was great and fresh. The place was clean. The owner was present to welcome people. The second time I visited (after 2 months), the food was good, but cleanliness went down from a 5 to a 3. Today it was worse. The cleanliness is down to 2. The bad odor from the restroom was so strong and affected the dining area. Clients were all looking around and talking about it. The cashier lighted up incense sticks to suppress the bad odor. We thought it as temporary after someone entered the restroom, but it was there the entire time we were there. The food sides like sambar, and chutneys we're all cold and watery. The masala inside the "masala dosa" was so bland without any flavor. When we pay $13.99 for a masala dosa, a certain level of quality is expected. Truly, the overall quality has gone down a lot within a year.

I come down from San Francisco to eat here, often. It's a fully vegetarian establishment.Quality of South Indian tiffin is usually inconsistent throughout the Bay Area - not the case here.Every time I have gone, the chutneys are fantastic, the idli is soft, the dosa is fresh. The batter they sell is so much better than store bought batter.I'd highly recommend going here exclusively for South Indian breakfast and coffee. To me it is better than the contemporaries (Idly Express, Madras Cafe, Madurai Idli Kadai etc) and you can actually find a table to sit and eat peacefully at without going to war. I think they're possibly my favourite in the Bay Area (and given the options, that's saying something.)

As a South Indian (Malayalee) by origin who is not impressed by most South Indian food, this was hands down the BEST IDLI that I have eaten in nearly 30 years in the USA. No place comes close!!

High quality, crisp, fresh, food.I admittedly don't know much about Indian food or Dosas, but I thought I'd give this place a shot. I picked a combo at random and had the meal in the attached picture. Everything was cooked right on order and the right balance of moist and crisp. The sauces were well balanced as well. And to top it off, the desert was not too sweet and had a well rounded buttery taste. If you enjoy Indian food or want to try something fresh, try this restaurant!

Best mysore masala and ghee dosas in the Bay Area. Friendly, easygoing, fast service. Peaceful, laid-back atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Great gluten-free and vegan options (it’s all vegetarian). They sometimes have badam milk too—magnificent!Dietary restrictions: Great dairy free gluten free options. It’s mostly or maybe all gluten free actually.
