This resturant has recently changed hands and the food is not the same. We ordered our usual and the first thing we noticed was the spice level (and with it the flavor) was reduced. The sauces all tasted the same for the dishes we ordered, bland and greasy. Even the samosas weren't spared. The naan used to be so good we would go there just to get it as take for later. The new place, now Briyanis isn't worth going to now in my opinion. There are better places. Really sad.

I think this place deserves 5/5 rating. The food and service is just amazing. Would definitely recommend to others

Service is always friendly although they sometimes don't speak much English. The food is great for a good price, like the biryani and curries. The naan and pakora is also good although I prefer to just have rice.

We came from another city to get biryani from Fremont location and both veg biryani and chicken biryani were tasteless! Even though we requested a spicy version, they gave us a heap of plain rice and a little masala underneath that had no taste. Don't understand why would a business do that after increasing prices. We called them and they hung up the phone in between and when we called again there was not an ounce of remorse. Sorry you not only lost a customer but gathered bad reviews for saving few $$

I have ordered a chicken biryani but I think this meal should be called rice biryani bc what I've got is the plastic box full of rice and just two pieces of chicken lol. If you are really hungry I do not recommend to go there unless you in love with rice. Also spices seemed to me expired and I actually had a stomach ache after being a customer of Biryani Bowl. Will never recommend it to anyone.

This is another hidden gem for delicious food. It's small, unassuming store front in a strip mall that doesn't really attract attention may lead one to think it's not a place to seek out, but it is! Our party had somosa chaat, fresh garlic naan, onion kulcha, chicken Tikka and paneer gongura. They were all fantastic. Really. We had not tried gongura before and found it a bit spicier than we like, but the flavor was delicious. The chicken tikka was tender and perfectly seasoned, and the chana masala was also, with a nice coriander flavor. While we sat and waited for our order, there was a constant flow of people coming in to pick up food. The man we ordered from was friendly and willing to give us advice when we asked for it on what we might like, and we enjoyed talking with him. Any review that says negative things about their food may be from someone who does not know how to appreciate these flavors or perhaps may not want others to find this yummy food. A must try restaurant!

Fantastic place! I've tried a lot on the menu and haven't found anything I don't like. I used to come here all the time during my lunch break and with coworkers. Also have tried other Indian places and keep coming back to this spot. The staff is so friendly, if you want Indian food this is a great place to go :)

Taste - 5/10 Cleanliness - 8/10 Service - 7/10 Price Range - $$ I ordered the chicken fried rice and the chicken tasted pretty old. Food was very bland for a 4/5 spicy level.

This was a recommendation from a friend who is a frequent Biryani person at this place. Must say 5 points for the taste. Family pack is good for 4 and it comes with dessert and snacks. We had friends over from India and decided to have them taste and it turned out to be a wonderful choice specially while all the other restaurants were coming to a close by the end of the day. Must have always.

We drove all the way from Sacramento to pick up the family size Biryani and it was delicioussssss. It's a huge portion that lasts up Atleast a couple of days. Very good and fairly priced for the portion. Definitely recommend if you are in the area or like us who come from far away just for this.

Very friendly staff. The food is really good. I like the chicken masala, butter chicken and naan. The taste is always consistent

I've been here twice so far, the first time was for lunch so I ordered a vegetarian combo with saag paneer and paneera tikka masala, and my partner ordered a non-veg combo with butter chicken and something else that I forgot. We got rice, naan, and gulab jamun with the combos. I thought both my dishes were pretty good and I appreciate being able to try two different entrees with the combos rather than having to pick just one, although not all of the entrees on Biryani Bowl's menu are available as choices for the combos. The naan was more on the flatter side if you prefer you naan thick and fluffy. The second time, I went for dinner so we ordered saag paneer and malai kofta. The saag paneer was on the spicier side this time, and my partner bit into some of the chilies, which was rough since neither of us is able to handle spicy food beyond a mild level unfortunately. However, the malai kofta was great, it was really hearty, rich, and savory. Overall, I find this place has reasonable prices and I liked all the food I have tried. I had tried to order via phone the second time I went, though, and it didn't seem to work, so we ended up having to place the order online instead.
