Placed an order via GrubHub. The food came warm, which was great. We got the Quesabirria, quesadilla with carne asada and a couple of burritos. I liked the Quesabirria and quesadilla, but the carne asada burrito is a hard pass. The meat inside the burrito was tough and had a lot of gristle which really ruins the experience. There was gristle in almost every bite. Guess we will have to stay away from their carne asada...

My recent visit to La Orizabeña marked my third experience at this Fremont Mexican food truck, and unfortunately, it left much to be desired. Despite my initial enthusiasm, the wait times and inconsistencies in service have been consistent disappointments. On this occasion, the wait under the scorching sun for our Choripapas was longer than expected, and the communication regarding the wait time could have been clearer and more proactive. When the food finally arrived, it lacked the promised zest and freshness, leaving me underwhelmed. Additionally, the oversight regarding the lime accompaniment and the overpowering taste of oil were notable letdowns. Reflecting on previous visits, similar issues regarding wait times and sauce portions have arisen, hinting at a pattern rather than isolated incidents. It's disheartening to feel overlooked or undervalued as a customer, especially when witnessing inconsistencies in service delivery. Furthermore, my recent curiosity led me to investigate the health inspection scores, revealing some concerning findings from past assessments. While the truck has managed to address some issues, there remains room for improvement, particularly in areas such as hand hygiene and food preparation safety. In the spirit of constructive feedback, I hope that La Orizabeña can take these observations into consideration and strive towards providing a more consistent and satisfying dining experience for its patrons. With the right adjustments and improvements, there's potential for this food truck to regain its allure and reputation within the community.

Tacos de papa y chorizo are the best!!! With the green salsa. Amazing! Beats any other tacos in Fremont.

This food truck is SO FREAKIN' GOOD -- and that says a lot coming from a SoCal girl! Food takes a while sometimes but it is SO WORTH IT.

We've been wanting to try La Orizabeña for a while now. The last time we tried they weren't there. So today, we called first to see if they were there and they were! So tip...call first before you head over otherwise you may or may not be disappointed. In short, an enjoyable meal that filled us up and didn't feel super heavy but my fingers are definitely smelling like what I ate which just makes me hungry for more. L O C A T I O N La Orizabeña is a food truck that parks in the parking lot in the front next to Red Wing Shoes. Although there's only two parking spots in the front, there's more in the back which is where I parked today. They have one small table with a few chairs in the front of the truck if you want to eat there but it was really really cold today so most folks took food and ran into their trucks/cars. M E N U The menu is pretty standard in terms of Mexican food. Is it Mexican? Let me know if I'm wrong but tacos, burritos, tortas, and other plates. We stuck to the torta (El Chavo with added carne asada) and a few tacos (al pastor, carnitas, and lengua). We were looking at the photos on Yelp and wanted to get this ham plus carne asada torta. So they can add any additional meats to the tortas. So we got the El Chavo and added carne asada for $2.50 I believe. I think it did help with the flavor of this torta for sure. Bread was sturdy. Came with lettuce, onion (which we probably should have asked to not include), tomatoes, refried beans, avocado, and a slice of queso fresco. All the meats felt like they were grilled to order. Overall, this sandwich was good. I didn't feel like I tasted the refried beans at all nor the avocado so I was a little surprised to read that in the menu description as I was writing up this review. Cucumbers as well as some green salsa came with the dish which was great. I slathered my sandwich in that green lime forward salsa which wasn't super spicy at all. The tacos were good though again should've said no onions as I have a sensitivity to it. The lengua tender, the carnitas cooked well and that al pastor was well seasoned and my favorite of the three. Came with some limes and the green salsa which I again slathered on the tacos. Not that there wasn't any flavor. It's very light and balanced. I wanted a little more kick and oomph and I'm glad they packed some salsa in there. S E R V I C E Pretty easy to order. We also called in and they were nice enough to let us know they were there. It does take a while to get the food so expect to wait at least 10 min or more if they're busy. Easily paid by card but you can pay by cash. When the food is ready, they try to yell out your order. So you should remember what you ordered :) Today, they yelled out Torta. But we also had other stuff so we just had to remember who was in front of us as it seems like the food comes out in order. O V E R A L L It's a great option for tacos and other Mexican fare. I'm excited to try out the other dishes to see how they are as well as the other meats. The flavors felt more fresh than heavy which is lovely. But remember to check to make sure they're around before going as sometimes they don't make it to their usual spot. See and try them out for yourself!

theres better trucks out there . the service was friendly but the food was not giving taco truck good mexican food . the reviews are misleading because this is not worth 5 stars they don't even have pinto beans and the meat is cut weird and the salsas taste like chemicals. I was promised guac in my order and never received it, that bugged me because i bought $7 worth of chips lol i just wanted a side & ended up paying more than expected and not worth the price. Everything on the menu looks good but its a different outcome in person. the agua fresca was probably the only good thing from my whole order.

tacos are solid, the menu is poorly designed and hard to read though I'm not sure who came up with it, main cashier is pretty rude at times but it's a food truck not 5 star restaurants so I guess it doesn't matter - their plates are also pretty

Tried out their asada tacos for dinner takeout, which was good overall. All the components were good, but the meat was a bit lackluster in taste. Their spicy salsa added a nice kick. Tacos were $3 each. You will have to wait a bit (less than 10 minutes) while they make the food fresh to order. Location has some parking adjacent to the truck, and there is a table with a few chairs in front along with a standing table on the side of the truck. Otherwise, eating in car or takeout would be more likely. It is a large blue truck visible on the street, you won't miss it.

Oh my gosh, these tacos are the absolute best in town! The people here are so sweet. I've been to like, most of the Mexican places around, and this one's a gem! If only they were open all day! Totally became my go-to spot after just one visit!

I hate to give ad review as these are hard working ppl and doing the best they can. I took a long detour from 880 and ordered the simplest item , a burrito 15-20 mins ahead. When I reached there were two other customers still ordering. The place is operated by the owner and his mom and he does everything. After waiting another 10 mins I asked to cancel the order but he offered to give the food and refund if. As far as the burrito it was ok, the rice was tasty (prolly lots of lard), but didn't taste any meat. I also realized that the online prices (on their own website) is $1-$2 more expensive than the truck and they still charge $2.5 extra when you order online though they accept cards at the truck.
