This place is SO GOOD! Some of the best sushi I've had in the area. HIGHLY recommend. Rolls are amazing and filling. We got (from left to right) the Honey Walnut roll, Baked California Roll, Monster Roll, Hot Momma roll, and Lion King. All were PHENOMENAL.Vegetarian options: They have a few different rolls without fish.Parking: Easy and free parking.

Yellowtail appetizer was good.Soft shelled crab was just okay and was pretty small for the price. Wouldn't get the crab again.Deluxe sashimi platter tasted very good. No fishy taste at all and the quality was there. A lot of meat for only $50.Deluxe hand roll was good.Spicy hand roll was also good.Baked scallop roll was good but the scallops were small and thin. Wish they would have put more scallops.Chicken teriyaki with miso soup and salad was good.Service was nice and quick. Atmosphere was pretty chill. I would definitely go back again.All this came out to $131.

Very nice sushi restaurant to go to! It’s a nice place to go to with all hanging plants on the walls along with black and white theme making it match with some Japanese styles.Yes, there aren’t any bentos and less entrees in the menu, but the main dish is sushi, which is probably why that’s the case. I’m quite surprised that they open until midnight especially on the weekends.The sushi tastes good along with other foods. The house salad is really big like we can just take some at home. I also didn’t know that the sashimi platter comes with rice, which is quite unusual.Again, really nice place to go to haha

Great variety of sushi and speedy service. This place is great if you want to hangout and chill with friends or family and try new food. The waitresses are also helpful in explaining and giving out recommendations if you have any questions.Monster roll was awesome.

My partner and I go here because it is open very late, which is awesome. The sushi is standard, if a bit uninventive, and unfortunately the water only comes in water bottles.Otherwise this is a great, no frills place to go for nice sushi.

The chirashi deluxe comes with otoro and real wasabi. It was the best prepared sashimi I've had in the States.Parking: In a strip mall with plenty of parking.

We've been visiting MJ Sushi to get our quick sushi fix lately ... but why just a 3 star review? I'm sold on the quality of the sashimi alone, but everything else is pretty average. I think the way they conduct their business feels more like a to-go friendly type of vibe, which is totally fine, but when I'm dining inside, I'd rather not have a salad served to me in a to-go container. Also, when you ask for water, you're handed a Kirkland water bottle... I have never experienced this at any restaurant, not a bad thing, just an interesting observation and dining experience. There's other things that I've observed that seem "interesting" but it didn't take away or add to the dining experience.The Yellow Tail Jalapeno was delicious, the other specialty sushi rolls, chicken karaage, chicken teriyaki, gyoza are pretty average and on-par with other local sushi spots. I wish their spicy tuna actually had some spice to it. Again, I'd come here for the sashimi alone, but the kids seem to enjoy the chicken (since one of them is allergic to fish). Staff is great and attentive... like most Chinese ran businesses, they get you in and out quickly, I only know they're Chinese since I could hear all of the staff speaking cantonese to eachother. I'll continue to try other items on the menu during my next visit and report back if I find any hidden must order gems.

Spacious restaurant, friendly service, delicious food, and fair pricing. We enjoyed all the rolls we ordered, tried 8 rolls on the menu and there wasnt one we didnt like! Also loved that the menu had photos. The only thing is I wish they served tap like regular restaurants instead of water bottles, it can get pretty wasteful.
