I've already reviewed the Mumbai Chowk at Newark and the same owners have opened a new place in Fremont. The same taste and flavor consistency can be found here, my favorite dish has been the surmai(fish) Thali, but i recently tried their owner Abdul's special dish the Chicken Makhanwaala curry and gotta say it's my new favorite!Vegetarian options: Balti Paneer and chole kulche are the best here

Me and my family love the north India food at this restaurant. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. They always prepare Jain balti panner sabji which is one of our favorites.Suggestion: Restaurant should start serving copped onions, pickles, papad with North Indian dishes.Dietary restrictions: They have jain opinions if informed a day before.

One of the better Indian restaurant around here. Love the curry dishes, vegetarian, and especially the seafood selection. Service is excellent as well. Couldn’t ask for more! Try the tikka masala with spicy, butter chicken, fish masala, fish thali, daal fry, and kolhapuri anything (spicy and delicious). Popular with Tesla Fremont employees - I heard Elon Musk comes here sometimes and is a fan ;) Will happily come back and recommend to friends!!

Really good Indian coastal food ! The flavors were closest to the Konkani food I’ve had back in India. We got the prawn rava fry thali and the veg thali both were spot on ! Hidden gem in Fremont ! One of the better Indian restaurants in the East Bay region !

I was looking for vegetarian with no onion and no garlic. Chef made a veggie Jai puri which was okay

I think the place is decent for Indian seafood. All the three curries (goan fish, malvani fish and shrimp sukha) were delicious but the fish fry (bangda and surmai) were very mediocre. The fish was barely marinated and tasted bland from inside. Also surmai was extremely thick and hence was a bit raw in the center. Also I feel naan doesn't go that well with Indian seafood and was expecting a wheat chapati or rice flour bhakri. I still feel I will visit one more time for dinner.

Do check out their weekend specials. We ordered the bombil thali and surmai thali. For the price, the portions were generous and the fish was fresh, crisp on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside.

It looks like they might close down anytime. The service is poor or understaffed. The food was very ordinary. I've had better chat in food trucks next to chandni chowk in Fremont. They really need to up their game if they want to stand out.

This place is new but it's quickly become arguably my favorite Indian restaurant in Fremont (and that's saying something given the amount of Indian restaurants in town). Every dish I've gotten here has been fantastic, and the weekly specials are amazing too. My personal favorites are the Kolhapuri Fish Curry, Balti Chicken, and Grilled Pomfret. I usually do carryout orders every week and I have yet to ever be underwhelmed. Couple that with the fact that the owner is incredibly friendly and the restaurant is clean and I can't recommend this place enough.

Stopped by here on a weekday evening for dinner. Parking was easy as it has its own lot. We ordered a few appetizers including bhel puri and sabudhana vada. The vada was my favorite! Amazing crispyness and loved dipping it in the sweet sauce it came with. We also got the infamous butter chicken and it didn't disappoint! Everything we ate was perfectly spiced with a variety of flavors to enjoy. Truly felt like a local authentic spot in all aspects. We can't wait to come back!

Good place for those missing Mumbai street snacks. They have fish Thali too which includes vegetable and dal. Dal was yummy. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Looking forward to more seafood offerings in future.

Amazing! Looks like a great place for seafood but I loved all the vegetarian food that we had. The vada pav, mango lassi, chaas, Amrutsari chole kulche, and dal fry were all exceptional. The portion sizes are big. The great service and the clean restrooms add to the experience.
