Serving tap water with rust in it. This is unacceptable. If you don't invest in filter, don't serve water and ask for fee for bottle. Doing things without thinking deserve this low review. A cheap osmosis cost 200 dollar, not doing this make me feel like corners were cut on the food as well.

Good textured noodles, decent pricing, good selection for noodles as well. Parking in the plaza can be a bit messy. This location seemed nicer and quieter than some other ones in the area!

I definitely recommend this restaurant. The service was great and the service was quick. My favorite part was the food. We ordered pork ribs noodle soup and pork buns, which were both excellent. It tasted amazing with the chilli oil. It is also kid-friendly and my daughter loved it.

I have only tried chili oil noodles at Ox9. Not much vegetarian options here. I have tried 3 locations of this place in Cupertino, fremont and Milpitas. Chili oil noodles are consistent in taste. The noodles were thick and chewy, very filling. It's a QR code order kind of place. Not much service or ambiance. No frill restaurant but gets the job done. Affordable and tasty.

this place is life-changing. my #1 favorite restaurant of all time. in the span of 2 weeks, i literally came 3-4 times. yes, it's that good. the broth is simply exquisite. i could be stuffed to the brim and catch a whim of ox 9's broth and instantly and uncontrollably be salivating. they have perfected the lanzhou handpulled noodles, and you have a choice of 6 different kinds of noodles! my favorites are regular round and small flat. if you're a fan of the larger knife-cut noodles, they have large belt (which is quite big, so beware lol). the service is very quick, and the wait time is never too long. there's several locations around the bay - i'm waiting for them to open one in sf restaurants have a nice ambiance, and you order through a QR code!

First time trying this local joint: 1. chili noodles 3/5 -- better warmer; good noodle consistency 2. Veggie noodle soup- 1/5, bland. Good noodles... but needs oomph 3. Veggie buns- 2/5, a bit firm. Unsure if they are made much earlier in the day which makes it tougher. Would be nice if served with chili sauce. 4. Scallop vermicelli- 4/5, lots of flavor. The noodles were so great. I would eat this with the noodles, garlic in a larger serving. 5. Cucumber garlic - 3/5, standard nothing that stands out. Worth trying. Service was great.

Came here after my friend recommended it. Luckily it wasn't busy on a Monday night. We sat right away and ordered from a QR code. I asked for a paper menu bc the person I was with was older, not good with technology, and looking at the menu on a phone is small. They said they didn't have any and only way to order way from a phone, pay in person and cannot pay thru the online ordering system. We finally got our order in and came out fairly quick. Food was delicious. The soup was a large portion. Broth was flavorful and liked the chili oil with a bit of tanginess. Plenty of noodles that were soft and chewy with good texture. Beef slices were flavorful and tender. We ate it all and ordered pork dumplings. These came out hot and fresh as well and really good. Good amount of filling inside and bun/dumpling had good texture. Everyone was friendly and restaurant simple and clean inside. I like how it showed how noodles were made and the process. I also like that they have multiple options for the kind of noodle you can get (round, flat, small, large).

I think my boyfriend and I found our new go-to hand pulled noodle house! The photos speak for the quality of the food. The flavoring and seasoning tastes almost exactly like how it's made in Beijing. Clean, spacious ambiance, fast service, and variety of quality dishes. Very satisfying experience 5/5 stars

Hand-pulled noodles is amazing! Nice clear broth and very flavourful. Also tried Liangpi, also pretty nice.

Overall, the texture of the noodles were all on point. Out of everything we ordered, the chili oil noodles was the best dish. Unfortunately, everything else tasted either overwhelming or underwhelming. Lamb skewers/lamb chow fun: My family and I ate a lot of lamb growing up and I've personally always loved lamb, never had a problem with the taste/smell. However, the gaminess of the lamb skewers and chow fun was very off putting. I couldn't take more than a few bites. Beef noodle soup: Noodles were on point, however the broth was bland. From the other reviews it seems like the taste of the broth is sort of inconsistent which is a shame because I love beef noodle soup. Nothing really stood out in this dish. The restaurant itself was bright and clean. Servers were very nice and brought out our food fairly quick. 7 orders turned out to be about $120 including tip and tax and honestly for that price, I expected something slightly better. I would like to say that I am open to give Ox 9 another try.
