The food tastes great, especially the soup base in the ginger duck. The portion is also generous for us. The hotpot is on the lighter side, as you can find in others reviews but we really enjoyed!

Tastes not good. Flavorless. It only has 5 slices in my lamb plate. All of them taste like wood. The sauce has no flavor either... Not sure how this place got 4.6 review. DO NOT

This is Taiwan style hotpot which is pretty different from other styles of hot pot. The broth is lighter and tastes more homestyle and there are less crazy chemicals in the soup base. The meat and veg feels higher quality than all you can eat spots. I got a set menu and was super full and couldn’t finish it. Great

It’s my first time to eat Chi Xiao Guo. It feels like Taiwan’s small hot pot. I ordered the sand tea stone pot. It tastes very good. Friends who like strong flavors will love it. The dishes are fresh and the meat quality of the fat beef is also good. The overall experience was very good.It is recommended for those who like to eat hot pot. A set meal is about 35 yuan, which is a very reasonable price.

There is an AYCE, set menu, and a la carte option when dining. Everything was honestly very confusing. We were told to order via the qr code but the table that came after us got menus to look through and ordered way before we got the chance to. Once we finally were able to get a menu it was a little less confusing. Food was good for the price as we went with the Set Menu A for 3 people and was more than enough food. We were trying to do AYCE but then realized ir seemed too confusing to figure out how to order that. They seem very hard working but do need a little bit more work with customer service. They do have a stamp card as well if you think you will be returning!

I've really enjoyed the food and service at Red Pot. I've got Taiwanese (non spicy) broth and combo option for protein. The broth was really good and I especially enjoyed to have an option to balance the taste with sauce made by myself. The pot came with basket of assorted vegetables. I barely finished all the food received. By the end of the meal they've also served a free jello. :)

Was really craving hot pot one day, so we decided to check out this taiwanese hot pot place that's been in my bookmarks for a while! The menu is a little confusing to understand, because there are both a la carte options or AYCE options, but it's not really clear how to order for either option. We ended up ordering the a la carte set, where you can choose your broth and choice of rice or noodle, and then it comes with an assortment of pre-selected vegetables. Personally, I thought the hot pot style was more Japanese than Taiwanese, kind of similar to Mumu hot pot. I got the Japanese Kombu broth, but was a little disappointed as the broth was very light and didn't have much flavor. The meat portion size was good, and also arranged in a very pretty way.

Some hits, some misses, but trying hard. Be smart and go for the all you can eat option. It's just a little more expensive, but it's really worth it, especially if you plan on getting more than one serving. I opted for the Tom Yung broth, which was very flavorful and complimented the meat dishes. Don't miss the lamb which was the best meat option I tried. Service was a bit hectic, I'm hoping that efficiency will come with experience. I'll try it again.

Good enough for a casual lunch

The owner is nice and the service is good, so I really hate saying that - but honestly the food is so disappointing to say the least. There are other customers who seem enjoy their food, so that’s probably a matter of different taste. But to me and my friend, we both agree this is probably the worst hot pot we had. Please consider improving your soup base and sauces.

This all new Taiwanese mala hot pot is actually pretty good. We stumbled upon this place and it's kinda tucked away from the main road in a nice little plaza. Idk why we were craving hot pot in the scorching heat but it was def good and they have AC inside lmao. We ordered the Taiwanese satay because it seemed to be the spiciest one. You order everything through a QR code which takes you to their online ordering. The AYCE was $29 for dinner. The one frustrating thing is for all you can eat on the menu, you can't order the three meats at the same time. You have to order 1 by 1 or tell your waitress you want all three. The sauce bar is limited but it works. You have options of white rice, clear noods, or udon. The udon is very good! For the AYCE, it comes with a whole bowl of veggies and other sides such as fried tofu skin, crab stick, quail egg etc... It's just 1 item per bowl but it's enough. I highly recommend ordering the Wagyu beef all the way! The pork and lamb were good too but definitely on the leaner side. We really enjoyed the wagyu. Definitely try to support your local spot!

they are pretty woefully understaffed and it can take a long time to get your food. the broths are definitely on the blander/lighter side which is not to my taste but could be good for someon the bright side, the variety of veggies is great. a leaner option for beef would be welcome
