Yum yum! I love this location so much, very convenient, and the quality of their fried chicken is so crunchy. it stays crunchy after a while. Easy access inside Ranch 99.I highly recommend this location over barber lane, it's hit or miss.

I went here like usual, but today was a bummer for good. This locatipn stopped making the mango bingsu, so this place is a no go. They lost me on this & perhaps some more. This was the only place in Fremont without heading to Newark or Milpitas for bingsu. Now, we have to hop out of Fremont to get one. Quite unfortunate really.

Customer service was great but they were extremely busy so it was quite a wait. Decent Taiwanese food and reasonably priced.

OMG imagine a giant slab of popcorn chicken! The seasoning is amazing on these and the meat is super tender and juicy. I underestimated the size of this thing - I thought it wouldn't make me full, but boy was I wrong. They give you TWO slabs of chicken!! After the first one, I was stuffed and saved the 2nd piece for leftovers.

The owner reached out the next day and explained to us that they had updated the Yelp business hours but might have forgotten to update the sign. They decided to let employees leave a little early so they could spend time with their families, and he invited me to come back the following week. When I returned, I really enjoyed their food and the hot grass jelly

An employee was handing out their popcorn chicken as samples and I thought it was a little too salty and dry for my liking, so I opted for their chicken rice which comes as lightly sauced, shredded chicken over a bed of rice and mustard greens, danmuji, and cilantro. I added a soy marinated hard boiled egg and some tea, making the meal ~$20. The portion size is good, but the chicken doesn't have much flavor and relies too heavily on the other ingredients to make the dish taste good. The tea is also I don't know if I would come back here since there are plenty of other eateries surrounding Great Mall.

The popcorn chicken was very crispy and well seasoned! Service was also pretty fast and there was lots of seating available. It was a little pricy ($11) compared to some other places but overall very good.

Service was kind of slow depending on the time and day. I was there at around 3 pm and it was pretty busy. So wait time was a slight longer. The xxl chicken breast was cut into big slices! They were fried to perfection as always!!! Juicy inside and light crispy outer layer! Light seasoned as I chose, however the light spicy was really no spicy haha I guess next time I will select medium. Coz in the past I have mild spicy and it was pretty spicy. But that was in Milpitas location though. Lots of seating in the food court so I immediately ate my chicken there. Good price for a decent snack/ a quick meal. I was stuffed eating the whole portion by myself. Definitely would come back to try some other items on this menu.

Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks has opened up inside the Eat Up! Food Court within 99 Ranch Market inside the Warm Springs Plaza, and they serve yummy Taiwanese eats!I've had the XXL Chicken Thighs, Popcorn Chicken, Oyster Omelette and Grandmas Braised Chicken Rice so far and each dish has been yummy and freshly cooked and or fried to perfection! The customer service is pretty good as well. The guy working the register is very nice and speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin as well! Would definitely come back here if in the mood for some freshly fried Taiwanese chicken!

The popcorn chicken with extra seaweed seasoning for me please. The chicken was cooked fresh and the order process was quick and easy. The amount of food per order was the bonus of this visit! I will definitely be a repeat customer. The reviews that lead me here were not disappointing. I personally like a dipping sauce for my chicken and failed to ask if they had something. That was alright because I had dipping sauce at home waiting for me. I sat criss-cross applesauce in the bed and went to food heaven.

Lemon aiyu is too sweet and lack of lemon flavor. Guava aiyu is too sweet too. Oyster mee shua is tasty

I literally only ever come to shihlin for popcorn chicken so. it was good as usuall, super fresh, super hot, fried well, chicken was good, juicy, not chewy, not dry and like real chicken. big pieces. only thing is I wish there was a bit more seasoning. but other shihlin locations don't have that problem so idk maybe it was a bad day for them xDservice - normal, comes out p fastambiance - it's inside ranch99 so it's like food court style

The online order was easy and it was prepared for pick up.However, the taste is so so. The chicken is very thin and over seasoning. Not recommended.

Located in the food court of 99 ranch. Their XXL chicken is delicious. It's unlike any other popcorn chicken you would find at a boba shop. The portion is huge and the flavor is so good. I always get the chicken breast extra spicy. They get a lot of online orders so be ready to wait.
