We started off with their chili garlic cuttlefish for happy hour and it was salty & chewy. We then ordered the black garlic ramen and it was even saltier. The ramen didn't even have a hint of garlic flavor at all to be called "black garlic"

The food quality has gone down, quite unexpectedly and unfortunately! The service was abysmal.

Pretty meh ramen place that is quite expensive for what you get even compared to other places. I didn't think much of the noodles or the broth.

I grew up in Japan so I can confidently say that the ramen here is amazing.

Food quality, taste and freshness are average. There is very weird and discomfort smell from the ramen or the soup, but if I hold breath and eat, the no weird taste.

(Disclaimer: this is from a vegan perspective) Not my first pick for ramen but it's a great spot for groups of all dietary needs as there are 3 vegan ramen soup base options. For my second visit, I ordered the spicy miso vegetable. As I was fishing out some noodles, I found a piece of meat in my soup!! (See photo). The server took my bowl back and will make another one which is fine but WTF!? How many other times has this happened to other veggies soups? Is the soup base truly vegetarian/vegan?? To their credit, the soup tasted fine. A little greasy but had decent flavor mostly from the sesame chili oil. The wait staff were friendly and quickly rectified the meat contamination issue but geez! Not ok! Obv if you eat meat and don't have allergies then this won't be of concern to you. Pls do check this place out anyway. As for me, I probably won't be coming back, at least not as my first choice. I on came here so I could get Mr. Green Bubble afterwards.

Located inside a plaza with other food places, there is lots of parking available. This is our go-to spot for ramen! The ordering system is easy and efficient. There's a QR code to see the menu and input orders directly. We came at night on a weekend. There was no wait (prob since they were closing soon). The food came out quickly. Each bowl had all the ingredients placed nicely. We ordered: - Black garlic Tonkatsu: strong garlic taste with a rich broth which you can tell has been simmered for long hours (for 24 hours according to their menu description). Comes with pork chashu, green onions, shredded wood ears and homemade black garlic oil. Added soft boiled egg and karaage. The karaage was crunchy even after it touched the soup, and so flavorful and juicy on the inside. - spicy miso: the broth was creamy and very flavorful. Comes with pork chashu, another piece of meat, green onions and shredded wood ears. Added the soft boiled egg. I like how they give a whole egg instead of just half. - fried squid: so crunchy and lightly battered so it didn't feel too greasy or heavy. The seasoning was flavorful without being too salty. Overall, the ramen and broth are both so good! Very generous with the amount of ingredients. The downside would be that the bowls are on the smaller side so you might run out of broth. But overall, it's a good portion size. Def recommend this place for a rich, flavorful bowl of ramen!

Sojo Ramen's ambiance reminds me of an actual ramen place in Japan! It was very clean and had cute decorations which made it perfect for my friend's casual birthday celebration. The servers were very kind when we were here and even gave us smaller plates for the cake we had without us asking. I have gone here multiple times and have had a consistently delicious bowl of ramen. I would say one bowl can be finished by the average person and the serving size isn't overwhelming. Black Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen ($14.50) 4/5 (Pictured) The flavors in the soup were rich and soaked into the noodles and pork chashu beautifully. I love getting the ramen here for when I'm craving comfort food, especially on cold days! My only complaint was that the bowls were pretty small and there wasn't enough soup for every bite of ramen which was disappointing because that's where the flavor is. I think you pay enough for there to be more soup but I recommend you pay extra for more just so you can have a more enjoyable experience. Vegetable Ramen 4/5 (Not pictured) My boyfriend ordered this because he cannot have the pork soup base and he loved it! Sojo ramen has solid vegetarian options.

Life is better with a bowl of ramen -- especially in this weather! Soon Ramen, known for their unique selection of ramen and rich broth! I LOVED their Mala Shio Ramen! I loved how spicy it was) 9/10 Black Garlic Tonkatsu Ramen 7/10 Tsukemen Dipping Ramen 8/10 Furikake Fries 10/10 Takoyaki 8/10 Chicken Kaarage 8/10

This was my first time coming to this ramen place, and to be quite fair and honest... It was mid. Nothing unique or nothing special about it, to be quite fair. Food: 3.5/5 The food was honestly kinda eh - at least for me. My whole family can say otherwise. The size of the bowl for $12.95 was not really worth it -- there wasn't even bamboo included, and the chicken cutlets were an extra $4 each, which easily adds up to almost $20 for a whole bowl. My parents got the tofu noodles, and the texture was pretty good, but the soup was still pretty salty when we had already asked for "less salty".... Service: 3.15/5 It was good, but we would have appreciated it more had the staff actually paid attention to us more, in terms of requests and all that. We had to explain ourselves twice in terms of clarification, which I did not want to do as a customer. Atmosphere: 2.6/5 It felt rushed; there were other customers who hit into my chair and never really apologized for it. Nothing much to say here because this restaurant really showed any appealing things. Would I come back here and bring friends to this restaurant? Probably not.... Good place for an afternoon snack, but if you're really hungry like I was tonight, probably not the place to go.

Been to this restaurant multiple times now and love it. We order veggie ramen - tired miso and spicy garlic soup and the flavors are excellent. Service is excellent and ambience decent. Recommended.

First time here and let me just say from someone who takes their ramen very seriously This place is a solid 9/10 on the list. Had spicy MISO and DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Service quick and fast . Love the decoration and ambiance was nice and quite. Come and eat here

Ramen noodles were hard. Soup tasted like the soup broth made from chicken power and very salty even I ordered less salt. No tea. No human service or waitress came to check on you. I am not sure if Japanese chefs heard all of this or shared this with my friend and family in Japan. I think they will be shocked as me.
