AJ’s is a popular restaurant serving authentic Armenian cuisine—at a very reasonable price. When we visited, Keyma was the dinner special. I'm not a fan of raw ground beef but it was nice to see it on the menu. We enjoyed the grape leaves and hummus with pita for an appetizer. This was followed by the mini Lahmajuns and Trout. The Trout was exceptionally flavorful and a large portion, along with pilaf and roasted vegetables. Highly recommend for an evening out, but make a reservation! As mentioned, it is a popular restaurant.

AJ's has a reputation for very good Armenian food. It's very popular with the locals, serving lunch and dinner in a casual dining atmosphere. Nothing too fancy.

My first time here. Food was very good. The salad was so fresh and tasty. The chicken so tender and had a wonderful flavor. The server so nice and attentive. I wish they had a restaurant in Clovis.

I had the lentil soup and the combo skewers, beef and chicken. Came during a busy lunchtime weekday. Excellent service! I Highly recommend AJ's!

So delicious! We were in town for appointments and needed lunch, so we popped in. The hummus was deliciously garlicky, the pita was warm and soft, and the chicken lunch plate was so good. Tender chicken, chewy bulgar, and perfect tender crisp veg. My hub had the lamb and pilaf, also so delicious! The service was excellent, drinks came fast, and even though it was busy, everyone was very attentive. Highly recommend!!2

Good spot where many regular locals go. Friendly staff. Food made in timely manner. Sign at register states it will take 30 minutes to cook your food. That's about right. The lulu plate lunch was generous. The meat was just overcooked and tough but seasoned well. You pilaf, tender flavorful, and the bulgar wheat was spot on. The tabouli salad was absolutely delicious with the perfect amount of lemon. Serve said it was made in-house. The pita bread was not house-made. It was mediocre.

Expensive but good, fattoush salad dressing is tasty but pita is pre-made. Call ahead and pick it up since the dining room fills up.
