Hot dogs are one of my least favorite things to eat but I married someone who loves them. Him and I will meet for lunch from time to time, and one day he wanted a hot dog, so I met him at Brown Bear. I was hungry that day. Now when my kids complain about what is being served, I tell them to suck it up and find something they can tolerate, so I figured I had better practice what I preach, so I ordered a hot dog. Let me tell you! I absolutely loved it! Idk what they do different but they are so good! I had not had one in several years, but two days ago I started craving a hot dog and could not get it out of my head. Tonight I made a quick run before closing to get myself one and I was not disappointed!

Idk what all the hype is about. Had the nacho dog and gave it 2 stars. Nothing tasty stood out. Also overpriced at $7. Sour cream on it tasted weird. Idk about this place.

Best hot dogs in Fresno! Wide variety of dog options, I like the K-Town dog. Strictly drive through or walk up with some picnic tables. If you like hot dogs you must try. Or, if you're not a hot dog fan this place may flip you.

Best hot dogs I've had in the Central Valley! They have a good amount of unique options which I love and the volcano dog has been my favorite for a while now. Can't go wrong with it! The people who have served me have always been super nice and the food has always been ready quick. Easy drive in from the freeway and in a nice parking lot where you can park and eat after. Love it here.

I went to Brown Bear's Hot Dog Stand to pick up a couple of hot dogs. The hotdog stand is near Herndon and Fresno streets. The owner who took my order was so friendly and easy to talk to. The menu was very extensive with many choices. It is a drive through that is very convenient. It took me a while to pick two hotdogs. I chose a Chicago Hotdog for my husband. I picked the regular hot dog with relish, onions and mustard. I usually don't eat hot dogs so it was hard to pick one. The Chicago Hot Dog ($7.00) came with mustard, slices of tomato, relish, onion and little yellow chilies on top. It looked beautiful but tasted even better. My regular hotdog ($6.00) came with mustard, red onion, and relish. The actual hotdog was delicious. I ate the whole thing! Brown Bear made a believer of me. I can't wait to go back! Yum!

I love this spot! It's in a nice locations and I've been coming back for years. Their chili dog comes with pineapple slices which I don't usually expect but it brings a nice flavor to the hotdog!

Went to Brown Bear's a couple of weeks ago. Got their Chicago dog to go. Apologies if the photo makes this dog look sloppy, but it came out great. It's unlikely to be the best hot dog you've ever had in your life, but for the price, it's excellent. Service was very friendly and very fast. It's in the parking lot next to the Chili's on Fresno & Herndon, so ambiance isn't necessarily their strong suit. Still, if you're looking for a good hot dog at a good price, Brown Bear's is worth checking out.
