If god gave me one wish it would be to eat here again. The corn bread, amazing. The sausage smoky and flavorful. And the lamb shank… the things I would do to eat this lamb shank again are too much to even mention here. Trust me try the lamb.

This was my first visit to this establishment. To be honest, the lady that waited on us. She was very informative and friendly. But, the food was so-so. My fries were cold and not cooked completely. My chicken wings did not have enough seasoning. My mac-n-cheese, although cheesy a bit on the salty side. They need a new cornbread recipe. My cornbread had no flavor, not buttery and so thin. Don't even get me started on my husband warm potatoe salad

Service was fast and server was attentive. We were greeted and seated right away. Our food was quickly brought out to us and it was delicious!! I got the bbq combo which I highly recommend. It was my first time eating here so I wanted to a get sample of their bbq. The sausage was snappy and had a bite to it which I prefer. Tri tip was good as well but my favorite is probably the ribs. My friends really liked the Mac n cheese but it wasn't my favorite. The beans were really good. I'm usually a huge fan of cornbread but I did feel like mines was a bit cold. Felt like it was cooked and sitting there for awhile. It would have been better served warm. Overall, this is a great hidden gem and I would return to try other items. Recommend you try it as well if you're into authentic bbq and soul food.

The level of richness that this restaurant brings to the dreary surroundings of downtown Fresno is like a shining star in a dark night. The business location and hours are a testament to how much time it takes to prepare to serve such high quality fare. My partner and I were making such vulgar sounds when consuming our food, that someone might think we were doin the do. It’s a whole experience. I’ll be back, and I’m bringing my friends!
