The shrimp chow main is beyond phenomenal. We have been coming here for about 25 years. Everything is great here.

I think I found my "go to" Chinese restaurant across the street from my go to Mexican restaurant. Lynn, the hostess, waitress and server was helpful with explaining some of the dishes to us. She remembered my other family members coming in a few months ago, this was my first venture here, but definitely will not be the last. The hot tea was her special blend and was quite good. Egg flower soup was tasty along with the meal we ordered. We had the meal for 4 people costing $12.95 per person. As you can see from the picture it wasn't that good! lol.

The service was good Lin is very friendly. The food came out quick. We both overall enjoyed the meal but can't say it's the best we've had. However the pot stickers are honestly the best I've ever had! Reminded me of my trip to China. I highly recommend to make your own dipping sauce with soy sauce, a little vinegar, and a touch of chili oil. The restaurant is much cleaner than most which is why we came here. Our old stomping grounds is just not up to snuff anymore so we're on the hunt for a new go to. We definitely will give it another try. Sometimes you just have to find your go to dishes. The customers inside had obviously been coming for a long time based on their conversations. They've been in business for over 32 years which is such an accomplishment!!

The menu includes most items usually found in 'fast' Chinese food restaurants. The food is promptly prepared and delivered hot. Only had it to-go. Prices are good.

Rice was overcooked. It was nothing but mush.

We were traveling through Fresno on our way to the west coast. We were driving around when we saw D’Hou and my dad said we could take a look at the menu to see what they’d have. When we went inside we were welcomed with great pleasure. Lynn, the owner, is an extreme sweet lady. She helped us with the menu and also with choosing the options. We had some small talk about where we were from and we told her we are from Holland. She was so enthusiastic, and started showing us pictures of her own vegetable garden and even made us try her self grown tomatoes. It really felt like getting home after being away for a while and that’s te feeling everyone deserves! And Lynn, if you see this, hello from Holland! Greetings,The Brink family (Martin, Heidy, Robyn, Zoë and Danique)

Easily the best Chinese food in Fresno. I moved away for school and nothing compares!! Most underrated dishes are the garlic peking shrimp, chicken salad, and any of the soups. The chowmein is also top tier!! I've been coming here for literally 20+ years and the owners are angels

A while back a friend suggested D-Hou (Palm and Bullard) As we were driving home from running some errands I passed by and was reminded of her suggestion, so we stopped in for dinner. It was the best experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant! We have a 9 month old baby that is eating solids and makes a mess. We are very aware of the mess he makes and do our best to prevent it and clean up after. The waitress immediately told us not to worry about the mess that she would take care of it! She talked to our little boy every time she came to the table and suggested meals for us to try since it was our first time. When our first dish came out she brought a special soup that she put together just for the baby with all things he could eat! She even put ice in the soup to cool it down for him! When our main dishes came out, she cut the noodles in bite size pieces for him and even fed him a little so that I could enjoy my meal with everyone else and not worry about feeding the baby! As a mother who never gets to eat with everyone else, I truly appreciated how she treated all of us and my baby! I felt like I was at a family members house. On top of the service the food was great with generous portions and a great price! This will be a regular dinner spot for us now. If you haven't tried it, you should! Support a local business and the hard working families like this who care about their customers and go the extra mile to make sure you have a positive experience!Kid-friendliness: Went out of their way for my 9 month old!
