We have had Ethiopian food all over the world and this was one of the best meals we have had. As good as the food was, the owner and service was even better. Highly recommended and thank you again!

The food on both the Ethiopian and Kenyan menu are mostly vegetable based and there is a huge selection for vegetarians and vegans. It is fulfilling but not too heavy, and extremely healthy. The atmosphere is beautifully done, I love the Habesha artistry around the restaurant that allows the diners to get a feel of and appreciate what African culture (Ethiopian - Habesha) and aesthetics are like along with the different foods originating in East Africa.

Wonderful food, kind and charismatic owner, excellent value, comfortable dining. The owner will briefly walk you through the menu so dont feel intimidated! There are wonderful vegetarian and meat dishes. The sample style tray lets you try several out at one time. You will have leftover food and it's delicious warmed up!Absolutely will be back. Try it out! You won't regret it!Vegetarian options: The vegetarian sample plate is to die forDietary restrictions: Lots of incredible vegetarian, vegan and meat options.Parking: Lots of spots right out frontKid-friendliness: You eat Ethiopian food by pinching a portion of the entree with pieces of lentil Flatbread. I had lunch here - I used to live in Oakland and there are the BEST Ethiopian resultants there! I have also lived in NYC and traveled Europe and I always get Ethiopian food wherever I am. Anyway, this place was pretty good all things considered. The staff were nice, the food was tasty, but I’ve definitely had better. But, it’s Fresno, beggars can’t be choosers. Haha.Parking: There is a parking lot in front of the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is on ground floor

The food was amazing. I kept wanting to eat more and more. There was only one chef and one server. It took almost 90 mins after we sat down for us to get our food. we got told that all the staff called in and it was only 2 people. But there was a full house. That’s the main reason why I didn’t give it low stars. The food made up for the long wait.

This hit the spot. The doro wat and cabbage were superb. Flavors were spot on. It takes time to get food but worth every second. Will be back.

As far as I know this is the place to go for Ethiopian food in Fresno. It's not fast food but if you allow about an hour for lunch it's definitely worth it. So just relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Spicy means spicy. I love the berry spice made out of 20 ingredients for 6 hours but he cut it in half in my lamb dish and it was about all that I could handle.Vegetarian options: There are plenty of vegetarian options.

The business is slow and easy going atmosphere. There is available outdoor parking for people. I liked the cultural African theme of the restaurant but, it's very slow of service. The host allows you to seat yourself any available tables. The host is a great entertainer and informative by showcasing the ingredients they use in the food. Share insight knowledge about the Ethiopian meal. The meal is served in a large platter to share up to 8-10 people. Ideally suits family and large group of friends. The food are freshly made and takes a long while for the food to be serve. The speed of service takes a long time but the food is worth it.Vegetarian options: Super food veggies plates and the host gives his expertise on the type of food is offer and share knowledge to the guests.

They were understaffed, but the owner was hilarious, very personable, and every stop at our table left us laughing! The food came out in good quantity and was overall absolutely amazing. The reason for removing one star was the wait. Expect to be here 2-3 hours. However, everything was wonderfully seasoned and delicious!

This place was amazing. We got a meat and veggie platter and it was enough food for an army. The owner was so kind and made it a great experience for us. Will absolutely be back.

This was the best ethiopian restaurant that I have gone to. Like many said the wait was a little long but it was worth the wait. The waiter/cook was so great and accommodating. Will be back again when in the area.

Although it took a long time to get my food, the whole restaurant is run by a single man who is The cashier the waiter and your chef. The food was delicious and tastes homemade, I had the spicy beef that was kind of like a stew and it was just amazing. Not a restaurant to come to if you're in a hurry, it might feel a little weird at first but it's very homey.
