This review is specifically for the manager that was working the floor tonight! She was amazing. Hostess greeting wasn't great & service was ok. But she was all over the floor speaking with guests, even bussed the table & cleaned the one next to us when it was empty. Noticed drinks were empty, took our plates & dessert orders when our server was busy. I totally get servers can get slammed, but having a hands on manager that wasn't just standing around but even taking the time to bus a table was super impressive to me definitely impressed by her! She was blonde with some blue in it. 10/10 for that service from her!

The staff is great. The ambience is great, but the food we had was absolutely poor. I had the filet and it was absolutely disgusting. I can't get out of my head the grey membrane the was in the entire filet. I don't think I can eat steak for a very long time. My wife got a glass of wine that had previous lipstick stains on it and ruined her experience. My daughter wasn't pleased with her chicken Parm, it happens. Overall it was a nice visit, just lousy experience with the food for the price.

Celebrated our wedding anniversary here. Beautiful seating, reservations highly recommended. Food is good, staff is friendly. Vegetarian options are limited on the menu but they can modify dishes accordingly, so our server went above and beyond to ask the chef to make a delicious veggie pasta for me.

The pasta was great, I enjoy tasting a different plate every time. The sauces had great flavor. The service was great they where proactive and friendly. The Five was very welcoming. The ambiance is great very loud but it a good place to eat with loved ones.

I was recently here for a catered event and it was fantastic. We had a nice and simple spread, pastas, bruschetta, pizza and salad. Service was on point and the environment was really comfortable. Pat, the owner, did a great job taking care of all of our guests. Five is a Fresno institution and is always worth a visit!!

Ribeye was delicious! It's juicy, filled with flavor, and nicely crusted. Served with potatoes, union rings, roasted asparagus, and a roasted carrot. Service was excellent.

We were here on a very busy Saturday evening before New Year's. Even with a reservation we still had a bit of a wait until our table was ready and service was a bit slow. We'll have to come back on a regular day. We ordered an espresso martini and a lavender martini, both were pretty good but sloppy (sticky wet glass stems), probably from the rushed busy night. We had the Chilean sea bass, pappardelle bolognese, and the short ribs. Everything tasted delicious and we would probably order the same entries again. We took some hurried pictures as we were eating so the photos don't look as great as the food tasted.
