My go to place picking up food for my mom that lives in West Fresno. The staff are friendly and get your order to your liking. I especially like their sizzling rice soup with lots of vegetables and chicken plus shrimp. Mom says this is the best food here. Her dish is the chop suey chowmein with lots of vegetables. The prices and portions are very reasonable and you get your money's worth.

Do not recommend this Resturant. The younger thin waitress rushed me to finish my food so they could close even tho I was almost done. I went there often but no more. Curtesy is gold in my book. To many other restaurants would like my money and good tip.

The food was very good. I had schezuan chicken. They made it extra spicy for me. The service was excellent, exceptional and the ambience was very very nice. Very clean also.
We have come here many times and we have always loved it. I am bummed to say the service has gone down significantly. Not only did they take forever to bring our tea and soup, other tables that came after us got there's way before we did. We also ordered an appetizer and it came out after the food? It was almost like it was intentional our table was being ignored as everyone else seemed to be getting updates, etc. Not friendly whatsoever, our waitress seemed to have an attitude to say the least. I can understand if maybe she was overwhelmed but her attitude was different with each table as I was observing. It seems as since Helen is no longer here.. no one cares to be friendly. . not sure if that's the reason or what, but we definitely wont be back anytime soon. Super disappointing.

The Golden is a landmark Chinese restaurant in the heart of Fresno’s Tower District, celebrating 50 years in 2017. I highly recommend the pork combination plate. Delicious and the price is still surprisingly reasonable. Highly recommend for a taste of old Fresno.

Okay... I've been wanting to eat here since I was little. Finally, 35 plus years later, I made it in ?.First off, it's run down AF inside. Second, the food was delicious, and the Togo service was fast. Last, I Love the OG style of the statutes outside, lol.
