This is a favorite that brings back memories of Playa del Carmen beach breezes and good times. Thank you !

We came by on a Sunday afternoon after seeing this place highlighted on ABC30 and it did not disappoint. The food was a home cooked meal I didn’t have to cook. The fish tacos were incredible and my son said it was the best chicken sandwich he’s ever had. The chef was taking orders, cooking and serving. Definitely worth your time if you are looking for a place that has something for everyone.

When they first opened, the food was well-prepared and the service was prompt and the place felt organized and clean--but, with "success" things have deteriorated, including the quality of the food and care in it's preparation. The wait time for breakfast on weekends is 45 min. +, and, if there is a table available, don't expect that drink service will happen. During the rush times, the food looks like it's been sloshed onto the plate, and will be swimming in grease (my eggs were floating in bacon grease today, and the pancakes were sitting in the "egg juice." The tables were self-bussed, and the person taking the orders could not accept payment-then, a female employee yelled out instructions to people waiting in line. The coffee was never refilled, no attention given to customers who were needing sauces, etc. When we asked for a substitution for one of the menu items (we wanted a biscuit instead of toast), we were sternly told NO substitutions! It confuses the cook!"-So, best to avoid Grandma Jane's until they get their act together and can accommodate more customers. (If they had a real social media presence, they could better manage their "rush times" and advise potential customers.). Next time we'll head over to HoHo or Chef Paul's.

Nice, small place. About 10 tables. I ordered when I walked in. One gentleman working and cooking also. Service was good. The food was great. Eggs were delicious and overall will eat at this place again.

The food was delicious and the people were nice. I would go again. The gravy was particularly tasty and felt homemade.

Delicious food. Everything is fresh and made to order. A little hike in the wall place but a gem. The Jalepeno bacon Mac n cheese is a must try.

A great gem in Chinatown/Downtown Fresno! This little place is the definition of a diamond in the rough and is a must-try if you are in the area. I recently went for breakfast and tried it at the suggestion of my parents who loved it. And they were spot on! It is a family run place and when we went, they were short-staffed so a little longer of a wait than normal, but they were working like crazy to serve everyone as quickly as possible and did so with a smile on their faces! On top of the pleasant service, the food was so delicious! Inspired by "Grandma Jane", everything tasted like a true home cooked meal and you can't find that many places anymore. I had the savory Chicken and Waffle and the only thing stopping me from finishing the whole thing was the huge serving! The waffle was good, the chicken was juicy with a great crunch, and the country gravy tied it all together perfectly. Make sure to try this place soon before they get too popular and it'll be tough to get a table!

Everything here was amazing. The food was hot and made fresh to order. We tried the chilaquiles, west side burger and biscuit and gravy. The chilaquiles were spicy and hecka good and came with beans. The west side burger was soooo good. Seasoned just right, bomb hot link and a giant pile of fries. The biscuit and gravy was ok, gravy needed some seasoning but other than that the biscuit was good. The service was really good. The guy in the front even helped us decide what to get after we couldn't make our mind up. Even with a packed house he came and asked if we wanted more coffee, water etc. Definitely recommend trying this place out. If you're coming for lunch I would recommend calling ahead since it was a little busy on Friday.
