Our server was Juan, and he was extremely friendly and professional. We ordered chicken fried steak over biscuits with gravy, and it was extremely flavorful. Other main items were crab cakes benedict. Again, the dish was great. One must try beignets. These fluffy mini doughnuts are served with 3 different fruit jellies. The food portions are also huge.
I was immediately greeted and sat in a booth. The server was friendly and attentive. I tackled the breakfast chicken fried steak with medium eggs, hashbrowns, and the biscuit. Even though it was a lot of food, I cleaned all the plates. It was delicious and I will absolutely return!

I'm shocked to see this place at 3 stars. I grew up eating here and the service and food are immaculate! I never walk out of this place upset about an order. My food is always delicious, as well as the coffee. Of course, it can be hard getting in at times, but it's because of how awesome this place is. There are many occasions I'm told my wait will be 15-30min. I end up getting a spot in 5 minutes. The servers are always super sweet and personable. Dani is an example. I informed her that my bacon needs to be cooked through since I'm pregnant. She was super sweet and congratulated me with a big smile, as if it was an addition to her family! We felt so welcomed and loved her, and we always do! It's always clean here and the tables we receive are cleaned. And the theme fits the Louisiana style. The food comes quickly - around 10-15min! I'm never unhappy with this place. Hopefully my review boosts them up to the star count they deserve!

We came here after mass for lunch. Aside from the wait for a table, the food took sooo long to come out. It wasn't that packed/busy and there were open tables. At no fault of the server, we were surprised the food took a while to come out. We understand if we came during an extremely busy time so we were surprised it took over 20 minutes for our food to come. I ordered a sizzling plate and the food wasn't hot, merely warm. We were really hungry so we did not complain or request for the food to be reheated.
