The chicken is on point. I really love the flavor. I would stay away from the biscuits. You could play Hockey with them. Service was okay. Guys behind the counter greeted their regulars nicely. Atmosphere was low, because it's a gas station.

So good PERIOD. Jambalaya, red beans and rice, fried chicken, biscuits wings all , so good, they are missing the hot boiled peanuts though.

I've been wanting to try this place for years and finally found myself in the position to do so. The menu was not absolutely clear, so the young lady behind the counter was quite helpful in explaining things. I ended up with a family meal that included fried chicken pieces, chicken strips, potato wedges, and biscuits.Everything was delicious. The chicken was well seasoned and moist. The potato wedges and chicken strips were crisp and tasty, and the biscuits were sweet and buttery. I was really impressed, and the price was right. All things considered, this will be the place i go to for fried chicken from now on.

Fast and affordable good tasty non greasy fried chicken sold in a gas station Bad Bud's. Good service staff. Chicken still taste great overnight and the crunchiness and seasoning is done right! Sides like mash potatoes available too, honey biscuits or blueberry biscuits.

I was pleasantly surprised with how good this was! The chicken is cooked fresh so if you don't want to wait too long, I would call ahead. I ordered the family meal and it was about a 35 minute wait. Definitely worth it and will be coming back again

Great chicken tenders! The regular fried chicken is also very good. Usually laid out nicely. I prefer it this over the other popular fried chicken places.

I called in an rather simple order for fresh fried chicken. This process went down flawlessly by a friendly and eager to please staff. The chicken was seasoned well and the food was hot an very palatable. If you want some nice fried food you won't be disappointed!
Been in the area for 17 years and never stopped at any Krispy Krunchy Chicken. I admit, the only other gas station I stop at for food is the Mobil in Lee Vining (amazingly good for a gas station, BTW).Visited at 1030am. Husband had an appointment, so I roamed around in the meantime. I have to admit, this chicken is really good! There's no line and at $6.47 for 4 tenders, 2 sauces, and a little biscuit, out the door. Why wouldn't I rate it 5 stars?! Albeit, it's salty for me, but that's how I'm made. It's not really super Cajun with the spice, but the tenders were crispy, crunchy,, hot, fresh, tender, and exceeded expectation! Not overly battered like some places and btter than any tenders you'll get in the frozen section. Not gonna lie, I don't discriminate when it comes to tasty fried chicken, but this place tastes better than Addendum next to AD Hoc in Yountville (sorry, Thomas Keller... I know you gave my husband an internship decades ago, but we like your other food more)!

Hit or miss. The "Cajun" (though not hot at all) tenders first time ... Incredible had seasoning tasted awesome better than Popeyes. Second time ehh not even close to Popeyes didn't have the seasoning (or enough of at least) that was on there the first visit and had clearly been sitting out for long time under heat lamp. Third time the tenders were fresh because they had to make more for us but still ehh not at Popeyes level in terms of taste / seasoning but still a solid tender.They only had the legs and thighs everytime and out of the other pieces. But tried these twice and here yeah go: tough exterior breading overcooked crunchy to extreme skin was ehh, not good flavor no seasoning, and oily inside. I prefer tenders anyway myself so others might have different opinion on the pieces. On top of that been sitting out. Not worth the price for these.The potato wedges are decent (plain tasting no special seasoning detected). The dipping sauces amazing for dipping the chicken in... Original is awesome 10/10, boom boom is 7/10, ranch is 7/10 not enough fat/creaminess in the ranch. Haven't seen chicken sandwich or Mac n cheese there even though on menu but want to try those. The biscuits are awesome ... More awesome some visits vs other visits. First visit 10/10 on biscuits second visit 4/10 soggy undone and third visit 7/10. But flavor wise never tasted such a good biscuit has a sweet drizzle on top.So in summary... Stick with the tenders and biscuits but everything is hit or miss here for some reason. And get some sauces.
