Staff was great. The teppanyaki food we ordered was horrible! I don't know what happened to the quality of their food but last time we were here about 3 or 4 years ago their food was really good. But this time the chicken was over cooked and dry, the fried rice was cold and crunchy. It looked like the rice was probably a couple days old and over cooked. The fried rice appeared to only have soy sauce and eggs in it. The vegetables were not seasoned properly at all and it was so nasty. The beef we ordered was chewy, and also over cooked. Honestly, I question the quality of the beef. There is no way New York and Filet mignon can taste that bad. The place is great if you want alcohol or bar food. I wouldn't come here if you want a decent teppanyaki meal. I feel like we wasted a lot of money on food we had to throw away. They should really remove this from their menu.

I ordered delivery and I was shocked at how small the rolls were. I got the salmon and yellowtail roll and it doesn’t even look like they gave me yellowtail because it’s dark pink like ahi. It’s not worth it and another sushi like I Maya know of has much larger rolls. I eat at KuniSama all the time but they’re so stingy with delivery orders and today was over the top. Don’t think I’ll go again

Ordered chicken teriyaki and gyoza. The chicken was cooked properly but the teriyaki sauce was watery and not very good. The miso soup was also not very tasty and the “salad” was iceberg lettuce with one slice of mandarine orange. Gyoza was ok. It’s a sushi place so I get that chicken teriyaki isn’t their specialty though.

Server was very nice and responsive. The Teppanyaki was very good, excellent really. Only downside is how slow the sushi chefs are, we waited 45+ minutes for our sushi. The sushi chefs sounded like they were having a nice time talking, but they need to spend more time working. Overall, not sure I’d order sushi again just due the wait. Maybe I would just order the Teppanyaki.

My recent visit to KuniSama marked my third time at this versatile eatery. I fondly remember their Teppanyaki offerings from past visits, but it seems they've since shifted focus. On this occasion, I missed their Happy Hour, which runs from Monday to Thursday between 3pm to 6pm – a bit of a bummer, as I've heard great things about their sliders and nachos.I decided to sit at the bar this time, greeted by the staff's exceptional friendliness and warmth. My order included seared salmon and a duo of Teppanyaki-style tacos – one chicken, one steak. The seared salmon was a standout, impressing with its rich flavor and perfect cooking. However, the tacos fell a bit short of expectations. They were on the drier side, and I suspect the tortillas might have been the culprit. The fillings, when tried alone, were quite tasty.The real highlight of the evening was our drinks – a Paloma, an Old Fashioned, and a round of sake shots. Each was mixed to perfection, offering a delightful blend of flavors that truly enhanced the dining experience. It's worth noting that parking can be a bit of a challenge, given KuniSama's location amidst a busy shopping area, but it's a small price to pay for the quality of food and drink on offer.

Sat at the bar, great craft beer menu, so sat and had a drink while waiting.Took an hour, because they only had 1 sushi chef working looking like a chicken with his head cut off.For busy weekend's, more help would be helpful. Food is good, service needs a little help.

A lot of money for a mediocre experience. We've enjoyed it in the past, but tonight was disappointing. Waited 30 minutes for the first roll while ten to go orders went out the door. Need to focus on those that actually take to time to come into the resturant.

This place has really gone downhill post pandemic. Used to be a lively environment with great service. Now the staff looks like they rolled straight off the couch and the service is incredibly slow they're slow to clear the bar there slow to clear your table. Kind of seems like everyone has stopped caring ?

I came into this establishment with my wife to enjoy dinner that we don't always get to have time for..first we got seated at a wet table ..then waited for our waiter.we could understand if it was extremely busy.that was not the case.waiters walked past us with no concern of assisting us..I will never eat here..bad customer service hands down
