We used to really love it here, but over the last year have been unimpressed. The food isn't bad, but bland. The orange chicken is mushy and lacks flavor. Not likely to continue going here. Staff are really nice though.

Nice menu, I ordered Mapo Dofu, green beans in garlic sauce, some soup dumplings, and steamed rice. They served me green tea which was good. The green beans came out first. Kinda oily but tasty enough. The dumplings were a disappointment. They weren't hot when they came out and the soup had already sort of congealed. They also stuck to the paper lining the steamer which tore them open. But the flavor overall was good. The rice was old and pretty dry. I love shiny, sticky rice. That was not this rice. The mapo dofu was a surprise to see on the menu. I tend to prefer the Japanese version which is less spicy but this was a pretty good representation with a lot of tongue numbing pepper. I added soy sauce and it was decent with the rice. I brought home the extra to have later. I will probably doctor it up a little. I liked that they had chili oil and vinegar on the table. I didn't love the ambience or sense of cleanliness. Tables sticky, etc. Not bad overall but not mind blowing.

For starters the meat didn’t taste like meat. It tasted very rubbery and chewy like it was boiled before cooking. Order steak pepper on hot plate meat tasted like chlorine bleach that was the weirdest chemical flavor ever I have eaten. They were a good size , but the flavor of the pork tasted like a farm (smell of farm equals similar to taste) very off putting and gross. For 105 $ in food you would think the quality would match. I was very disappointed I spent that much and it didn’t even taste of quality. Our families stomach hurts a hour after eating. Will not return first timers beware. Waitress was pretty rude too. No manners.

Have seen this place for a couple of years but have never tried it until today. I stand by what I say, if you want authentic Chinese food in Fresno, go to a restaurant such as Four Seasons that serves actual dim sum & makes honey walnut shrimp the correct way. The honey walnut shrimp is mostly batter with small pieces of shrimp drizzled in some sauce. The beef soup noodle does not look anything like the picture advertises. It is some hunks of beef with udon noodles, some beef broth, and yellow small pieces of bok choy. The soup dumplings were deceiving. We expected some soup with the “soup dumpling” or at least some soup that seeps out of the dumpling but they were pretty dry dumplings. Not horrible but not what we were expecting.

We came here after heirloom was too busy and we like dumplings so we were hopeful. However, the dumplings we ordered were my least favorite dish. The green beans would be the only thing that brings me back. The beef was so soft I had to ask the lady if it was really beef. It was a strange texture that I wasn't used to. The service was mostly good and the food came pretty quickly. Overall I think there's better dumpling spots in town and definitely outside of Fresno.

So, we came here on a Saturday at late lunch hour about 1:15 PM. The order is beef broccoli to go. They don't make chicken with broccoli. I was told they say for sure which item was white meat only. At 1:20 I was told that it would be ready in 15 to 20 minutes. The booths were all occupied, but it appeared. Everyone had their food.I returned to the restaurant 20 minutes after ordering and continue to wait inside. The order was not ready until 2 o'clock. That's 40 minutes to prepare for a to go order. I looked in the bag, and I could tell that the container was ready to overflow. Usually that would be great if the food was good. But instead upon getting the order home, the sauce went everywhere. Beef is the kind where I believe they marinate it for a long time until it gets soft or chewy depending on the cut. The sauce was very runny and the broccoli could actually be cooked a little bit longer for my liking. However, the sauce really doesn't have much flavor. The beef is chewy and gross and actually and identifiable as beef. It doesn't look like it, it does chew like it, and it doesn't taste like it. I know we all have our individual taste when it comes to Chinese food. This one is not for me. It was just gross and taste. Inside the restaurants the booths on the sides look pretty dirty at the floor level. The art was dirty and I wonder how much else was dirty.?40 was too long to wait. I just can't this place.oh and it was $16.99 plus tax

The food is worth the wait! Best soup dumplings I've had. Everything is very tasty and authentic.

We wanted to try a different restaurant so gave this place a go. Ordered chow-mein and a couple of dumplings. All were good, maybe just a bit too salty for me....but what isn't when you're eating out? Portion sizes on smaller side for similar pricing at other comparable restaurants. One server only. It didn't take super long but we didn't get our food super quick either. Overall, good was decent.

The noodles were greasy, the beef in the broccoli beef looked good but had the texture of fat, seriously had me questioning if it was even meat, all our dumplings were stuck together so they would break and fall apart before we could get it to our plate. And the server never gave us refills on the soda

this place has the best potstickers and Mongolian beef. You must try the Mongolian beef.

I've passed by here so many times, smelling the yummy food from outside, that I finally decided to stop by and have dinner with my girls. As soon as we walked in, we were sat immediately in a booth. Most, if not all, the seatings are booth, so keep that in mind. We were given menus as we sat and waited to have our drink orders taken. Customer service was a bit lacking when we went. We had to call our waitress several times for things like refills on drinks and an order being wrong. The table behind us apparently had left because they expressed they hadn't been helped in well over 30 minutes, and meanwhile, we had just walked in and started getting help. Something we all noticed. Finally, we got our orders in, and we chatted away waiting for food. As we waited for the food, we distributed forks and plated to everyone and noticed my fork was very dirty, as if it wasn't right at all. That's something to note. The food didn't take much time to come out. Some orders, though, took much longer than others others come out. At one point, everyone had gotten their plates except one of us. We had asked about their order, and it was as if they completely forgot about hers, so they started to make it up. I had to send my plate back, unfortunately, because I requested no bell peppers in my vegetable Chow mein, and it came with bell peppers anyway. Once we all got our food together, it was delicious. The food was very flavorful, the dumplings were packed nicely, and the meat was moist. Everything came out piping hot with the steam fuming off the plate. Loved that. Despite service and the cleanliness not being 5 stars, the food is def something to visit for. The food alone is 5 stars. Try coming at a less busier time/day, and hopefully, you'll have a better experience.

I've eaten here several times now. Recently they created a new and more comfortable, intimate seating arrangement. The food though is fresh and delicious and the best thing about this place is. It's not a huge establishment but it's never empty. Staff are super friendly and attentive. Never an empty glass at least not for long. They serve you family style which is nice to know if you're ordering for a larger group and the portions are generous. Parking is easily available. Now for the best part. I highly highly recommend the soup dumplings, because they're hands down the best I've had anywhere. The Garlic chicken is also delicious and if you're up for medium spicy the Spicy noodles soup is very yum. They do have tasty buns but if you have a sweet tooth the custard buns are great. Take my word for it and eat here if anything sounds good about this review psst it's the soup dumplings. Ha!
