I like some of the food here but today I was disappointed enough to leave a review. It was my first time buying their fried chicken and I don't understand how you can charge $14 before tax for 5 pieces of drummets and sticky rice. They aren't even full pieces of chicken wings. I can grab something similar at LA Kitchen down the road for the same price and they give you 2 chicken thighs and 1big piece of chicken drumsticks. And if you compare it to their own crispy pork and rice, it's the same price and you get a lot more food.

Order Thai tea and na va in large for 8$ each the cups are pretty big. Definitely worth the money and it was delicious. Cucumber salad was good too. Wish there was a little more cucumber. I order with 4-5 pepper it's spicy but perfect. Pork belly was delicious too Steam rolls were delicious too. You order from a food truck then there are tables where you can sit and eat. You eat out in the patio which today was pretty hot. It would be so much better if there was seating inside instead of outside.

Love the food. Small place but the food is good and great seasoning. I don't live in Fresno but when I do get a chance to be there, Malee kitchen is my #1 to go for hot food and Hmong food . Delicious a must try

Clean restaurant. Good music, but sometimes it can be too loud where I have to yell out my order. Good customer service as always though. Food: 1st time trying it out, the pork belly was fresh and perfectly cooked. Hmong sausage was good. Egg rolls were not good, tasted like overdue filling or unrefridgerated filling. 2nd time, same experience. Thought we give the egg rolls another shot, but the same bad taste. The tapioca drink tasted bland. It did not taste like coconut and tasted more like milk or half/half. 3rd time, we came during lunch and was expecting good pork belly as usual as this is the only thing we come here mainly for, but damn, I feel like they gave us the leftovers from the night before. It tasted so old that we had to throw it away. It ruined my appetite and mood for that afternoon cause I drove an hour away just to eat bad food. Steam rice rolls are good! It is on the expensive side with the amount you get. Really wanted to give this restaurant a 5 star, but after factoring our experience, it fell short.

Thai tea 0/5. Not sure if the tea went expired or they over put the creamer but the Thai tea is thick as hell, just taste like pure thickness or creamer with a hint of sweetener. I recommend go to Mr.papaya for Thai tea or sugarcane drinks. It’s delicious from there !

These are the items I ordered.khaub poob tso - entire dish 6/10, the pork belly is 10/10. I expected the noodles to be freshly made and not sticky, but The noodles were clumped together and sticky. Some noodles broke off into little pieces. I think when orders are made for this dish, the noodles should be boiled in hot water for 5 minutes or so before making the dish. 3/10 for the noodles. I didn't use the sweat sauce, but I did use the pepper. The spice level of the pepper was good, but it was missing fish sauce and lime. 5/10 for the pepper.Cucumber salad - 10/10, the sauce is delicious and the way how the cucumber was cut was perfect. Not too big and too small. It wasn't soggy and it makes sense to package the cucumber salad in a bag for no spills.Eggroll - 6/10, the taste was bland and very little meat.Meatball - 5/10, it was good to try.

This place is hidden treasures for me. it is hard to find authentic food in Central Valley, CA. I ordered papaya salad, grill meat ball, steam roll, pork belly, steam fish with rice and beef tendon. All are tasty ? and authentic. very satisfied.

I've given this place 3 tries. The first time, there was bone, in the steam rolls. The second time, they made the cold noodle salad with old vegetables. I ordered the Korean Sausage "plate" yesterday with a meatball order. After it taking almost 30 minutes for my order. I took it home to find. it was only one piece of about a foot of sausage, and about two handfuls of sticky rice. What a god damn rip off for $12 fukn dollars. High priced. Low quality. LONG WAIT EVERY TIME! AVOID THIS MONEY TRAP. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. UNLESS YOU LIKE HIGH PRICES AND LONG WAITS FOR SMALL PORTIONS.

Service was good but I was upset that the eggrolls didn't meet my expectations. It was very bland and hardly any fillings. The environment was pretty cool but I wouldn't return. Not sure what the hype is all about.

Food is ok. The only down fall I would say is pricing. I feel like it's more on the pricier side and very little food is given to you. For the price you pay, you can honestly get more somewhere else.
