This place was not good. All the meat was flavorless and was barely edible. The lil old lady behind the counter was sweet but the food needs massive improvement. The hot link was hot but texture was like Vienna sausage.

Sept-2021. I ordered the pulled pork meal which comes with 2 sides and a drink. Upon entry, the place looks rundown. Food is hot, but that's only because it's in warmers, not freshly made. Sandwich was pre/made which caused the bun it was on, to be soggy. Picture on the menu shows it being on a hamburger bun, but it was on a sandwich bun instead (didn't alter the taste, but not as described). Sandwich tasted okay, a bit spicy but had decent flavor. Potato salad, was amazing. Baked beans, we're very flavorful as well. Still deciding if I'll go back or not. Soda fountain doesn't work, there's a random shopping cart in there as well, not sure why?? Given 3/5 for not fresh food, and restaurant looking randown

We took out lunch from here on a road trip. We were very disappointing as we really wanted to like this place and I usually love barbecue. Me and my wife shared a brisket and chicken combo meal and we couldn't even eat most of the food. The chicken was only chicken legs and it had a really bad flavor and tasted like it had been sitting for a while. The brisket was chopped meat which I normally like but it also had a strange taste. The barbecue sauce that comes on the side was not good and very spicy which was strange as we asked for the mild sauce. The only item I liked was the coleslaw. My son had a sandwich of the barbecue brisket and he was OK with it. I am not sure if this is just a different style of Barbecue that I am not used to or we got them on a very bad day. The shop seemed very old and unkept and did not leave a good impression. I hardly ever write poor reviews but I was so disappointed.

These people saying best bbq, blows mind, this place has some runny sauce and overcooked meat. Staff was nice but you can get better bbq in fresno anywhere else

I went here months ago while the owner was in and everything was absolutely amazing. Flash forward to a month ago I took one of my employees and it was horrible. Everything seemed like it was old and had been sitting for a few days. I decided to give it another chance today and it was the same thing. Ribs and hot link are definitely old. The beans have the grease sitting on top letting me know they're old also. $23 dollars for something I didn't even take two bites of. I really hope the owner can get this place back how it was because he seemed like a good man I was really rooting for him.

I would have rather ate a TV dinner than this BBQ food. The food was so plain with no taste that i thought i had lost my taste senses. I spent $50 and didn't even receive everything i ordered. I award this place no points and may god have mercy on their soul.

Don't even think about going to Carl's Jr. or In n Out nearby! This is authentic, delicious BBQ, and will always be my choice when I'm in the area. Their hot sauce is super hot but also doesn't numb out all of the amazing flavors in the food. The staff was really friendly, and the food was prepared quickly. Highly recommended!
