Pan is delicious! I've been buying there for years. Only draw back is working with the guy with the sleep eyes. No customer service, no character, no smile, always makes the experience difficult. Everyone else there is super cool and helps. Highly recommend the pan.
There are so many variations of these pastries. Growing up, my mom used to always call them, "sweet bread." My mom is half white half Mexican. Growing up, we didn't eat these too often, but when I would go to my dads side of the family, I remember going over to aunts and uncles house and they used to call it pan dulce.
