First time eating at the Safari Cafe. My husband and toddler was passing by after feeding the giraffes and decided to give them a try since there was literally no one at the zoo. It was 3pm, 1 hour before zoo closing we went into the Safari Cafe, it was clean, a bit dim, it gave rainforest vibes with natural light entering from the ceiling. I only tried the burger and fries. For $14, the burger was a bit small. The beef seemed to be pretty good quality. The fries were under done. The setting overlooking the savannah was nice. Can't say overall I'd get lunch here again though.

Great view and location! Serve yourself, short lines cause the food is premade. $17 for a burger or fries, Mac & cheese is $11 and slightly warm. Atmosphere is great food is blah
