It is March 27th at 8:00 pm and the service here at Sal's Restaurant in Fresno is terrible. I actually love Sal's. But the employees that work here are so terrible the whole entire restaurant of employees do not give any eye contact when you need something they are too busy involved in their own world. To top it off it's slow as hell

Food you can get anywhere, but Taco Bell is better. Atmosphere of a strip mall, because it is. But all at actual good food prices. Poor value.

We had prawn fajitas. They are better at original Sals in Selma, but still good.Parking: You may have to drive around a little bit, but it's worth it.

Easy after-work option for me, on a Monday when many restaurants are closed. I sat at the bar, with a view to the kitchen. Staff were attentive and pleasant. There is cultural music in the background but it isn't at alarming levels and conversations are occurring all around me. They have booths and tables. A little kid just skated through the restaurant on their wheelies, so you could say it's both relaxed and family friendly. I had the short rib burrito which was amazing and huge. I ate only half and am taking the remainder to go. Complimentary chips and salsa were fresh and spicy and I declined a refill on them. The short rib burrito comes dry, so the other photos must show the wet burrito option, which I didn't get. The view of the bartending was great with both mixed drinks and giant margaritas going out. Seeing the bar sink and kitchen I felt good about dining here. One minor trash can near the register was pretty full but they are also quite busy for the dinner rush. I shall be back! A great value and nice people.

I love Sal's Mexican Rice and beans and salas and corn chips. I'm not into the meats but it does look good. I've had the chicken dishes it was good. I go about once a month to get my rice & beans.. fix.

We have eaten many times in the Selma Sal’s and have been served in a reasonable time. 11: 18 am This Fresno restaurant had many workers standing and looking busy but not actually serving the customers. Our waiter was in charged of the all the tables and customers that were waiting to be helped or served. How can that be possible? There wasn’t that many customers and yet this waiter was the only one doing most of the work. Management wake up. As for the food, the menudo was hard. I think in the future I will eat in Selma’s Sal’s from now on.

We were greeted and seated quickly. The main dining area looked nice but unfortunately we sat in this small room off to the side. Wonky tables and uncomfortable chairs. Pretty run down and unflattering atmosphere. Server was friendly. Not super attentive. I didn't care for my food much. Refried beans were very runny. My fish tacos were not good. Tiny, mushy fish. Tons of cilantro. I picked over half of it off. Not much flavor and very dry.
