I have been eating at this restaurant ever since it opened, but it has gotten very expensive. I recently had to lunch specials and I am not kidding. It cost $45 for to lunch specials. I like this man's food but I can't pay that kind of money anymore.

I ran across this place on Instagram. I’ve never had Peruvian food before, but it sounded interesting so we met some friends here for lunch. It’s an unassuming location, that’s fairly small inside. The waitress was super helpful explaining all the entrees and specials. We started off with some Empanadas which were excellent. They had flavorful fillings, weren’t greasy, but had a nice exterior crunch. We paired them with Pisco Sour drinks which were AMAZING! It’s similar to a margarita, just a bit more elevated. I then moved on to the Pescado Con Langostinos. The fish was really tender and flaky, with a generous portion of large shrimp on top. The best part of the dish was the creamy sauce. It was everything! Overall it looked just like the picture on the menu and exceeded my expectation on taste. Overall, even though the location/ambiance isn’t top tier, the food, service and experience was definitely top tier. I’m definitely coming back again.

Lunch date with another couple on a Tuesday. Had the place to ourselves for most of the time. Sampled the different Pisco cocktails and enjoyed all of them (owner was the mixologist and they were comparable to cocktails at Annex/Saizon/etc). Like a margarita with more flavor.Ordered empanadas to start (1 of each kind) and wanted to re-order because they were so bomb. Great flavor.Ordered house soup (chicken cilantro) to start and really enjoyed. Truly a comfort soup with a thick broth (not a clear soup). Followed soup up with Saltado Pobre which has chicken, beef, shrimp, plantains, fries, and rice with a fried egg on top. Plenty for wife and I to share. I was stuffed after that plus the soup/empanadas/cocktails.I wish this was more centrally located but rent is maybe cheaper this far West?Spoke with owner at the end of our meal and while shy he was pleasant and happy to answer our questions. Natalie was our server and she is a hustler. Restaurant was slow but she stayed busy cleaning and prepping take-out orders and was happy to make suggestions or answer questions. We will be back!

Empanadas are great. Maybe a little over price. But they are worth it.

I eat here once a week and i tried ordering takeout over the phone and they refused because they said they leave at 845 but it says clearly that they close at 9pm. I nicely asked if i can pay over the phone and pick up at 855 and she refused very rudely. I been earting here for years and never got this treatment it was definitely the lady on the phone. I will never go back again.

It's been many years since my wife and I have gone out to have dinner on Valentine's Day this year we decided to go to this restaurant. To surprise they had a limited two entree menu. It's was also $85 per person. We chose this restaurant because of the favorite entres we like I will assume the limited menu is to make it easier for restaurants to turn over tables. It felt like having dinner on a cruise...except for the $85 price point. Now to be clear, the food is amazing, but when we went to have our favorite dish and it wasnt available we left. We will be back but not on cruise ship night.
