I ordered thru doordash, and the food was still fresh when I received it. The bread is crunchy, just how I like my sandwiches. I had the turkey sandwich which was delicious. I'd come back again to try another sandwich.

Recently found this wonderful sandwich shop. The food is wonderful. Both hot and cold sandwiches are delicious. The staff are very courteous and welcoming. The service is wonderful as well as timely. The shop is always clean and well kept. But, and I have saved the best for last, the clam chowder in a bread bowl makes you feel like you are eating on the coast. So yummy. I highly recommend everyone try the out.

Most people who know me know me as Mr. 5 star. A place really needs to mess up to get less than the full Monty. Stopped into WCS for the first time today for a quick sand I can eat on the run (drive) home. Was helped by a young lady with little or no enthusiasm for her job. Little did they know I'm practically made of bread. Impressing me would have brought me back a lot as I drive right by this place almost daily. Ordered the 6" pastrami and it was over $12 with tax. Ok. I'm going on 64 years old now and still not getting used to the sticker shock we can thank our useless left wing anti business hating politicians for. Whatever. Waited a while and then was presented with this pastrami sandwich. Not much meat on it but very tasty. While she was handing me my sandwich I asked the young lady her name. A horrified look came over her and she said why. I said because I'm writing a review. She hesitated then said Nicolle. I get the feeling that wasn't her real name though. Maybe I'm wrong. Either way this young lady needs to learn about smiling and interacting with customers. She built my sandwich quickly and assembled it like a pro. If my review was based solely on the food it would be a 5 star review. I'm only knocking one star off for Nicolles attitude. To the owner of WCS I would have another meeting about how to interact with customers. Not a big big deal but you know what I mean. People buy from people they like. When someone leaves feeling like I do they tend to not come back. I, being a lifelong business man will be back and if I like what I see I will revise this review up to 5 stars where this place should be.

I've tried both locations and they both seem to have similar issues.1. Staff have a clear language barrier & it negatively impacts their ability to meet customer needs2. Minimal vegetarian items available & the ones they do have are just as or more expensive than the options with meat3. Only vegetarian sandwich offered highly overpriced (at baseline) and then seeing what actually comes on it (minimal veggies or protein) it is a complete waste of money...for perspective, I'm a small person with a small appetite and I eat the "large" (actually very small & thin) with my stomach still physically growling with hunger after I finish it.Positives:1. Their atmosphere is nice2. Parking is easy3. The quality of the veggies & sourdough bread are good, thus the sandwiches taste great! They should re-evaluate their veggie sandwich price and consider more plant-based protein options whether that means providing an adequate amount of avocado on it or adding bean sprouts to better meet needs.I will visit here again only if someone else is treating me as I cannot justify almost $14 for a sandwich that leaves me more hungry than when I arrivedVegetarian options: Very limited veggie options and highly overpriced for quantity received (minimal protein, not filling)

Had it multiple times before over the years, never had problems. Ordered two sandwiches today and got me and my boss both sick, I don't know if they used old stuff or what but the taste was really off too. Took a covid test and my temperature to see if it was me but both were good.

Went in for the first time and ordered the pastrami sandwich the pastrami was not good at all , tasted super bland ! my wife ordered a turkey pesto and got the wrong sandwich. She returned the wrong sandwich with all her chips still in her basket , would you believe they threw all her chips away? Lol I went back up to the counter to get more chips would you believe they still charged me for chips even though they threw them away lol this place needs customer service skill for sure

HORRIBLE SERVICE. Nobody greets you. My online order said ready at 11:43 but I just left at 12:05. I was standing in the pick up lane but my order never came. Then stood in front of the ordering line and never acknowledged. I saw an order sitting and asked if it was mine three times. Nobody batted an eye like I never said anything. I finally got someone's attention and he just handed it to me without saying a word. Half of the receipt is checked off with the other half not checked off. I waited a couple more minutes for the guy and asked if all my food was there because the bag is flimsy and I didn't want to rip the bag open because then I wouldn't have a bag to carry it out in. I got the guys attention and he told me he didn't know if all my stuff was in there. Hopefully it is! I told him I ordered 5 drinks and he just said get what I need. WHAT?! Worst service I've received in a long time!

Highly enjoyed the food, it was tasty for being a clam chowder place in a land locked city. I could almost taste the ocean, safe to say their clam chowder was top tier. Pretty legitness. I highly recommend it if you are craving some clam chowder and don't wanna make the drive to a seaside restaurant.

Based just on the food I'd give it a 3. The Sandwich itself was fairly tasty although a bit pricy. The tomato bisque was just barely passable as tomato bisque and the Mac and cheese literally tasted like box mac and cheese and the portions on both of these items were small for the amount paid. The reason I dropped off a star was because the clerk while helping the customer in front of me coughed so hard into her hand I could almost her the flem hitting it and didn't wash or sanitize at all during the entire exchange then process to help me right after and I pray that she was nownere near any of the food that was being made. Overall if I ever decide to go back it would only be for the Sandwich and nothing else .

These employees are NOT WEARING GLOVES while cooking! The cashier just handed me a spoon with his bare hands and not even by the handle, by the part that goes into my mouth. After handling the cash register!!! Barf!!!

Love the sandwiches, meat is always fresh. But after today I will not be coming back, the gentleman making the sandwiches was touching his mustache and beard (I'm thinking out of habit) then goes to grab gloves to make the sandwiches without Cleaning his hands, does he not think the hair he just touched wasn't on his hands? That's a hell no for me to come back

Sooooo soooooo GREAT! Their bread is to die for and really makes the sandwich. But all of their ingredients are fresh and only the best quality. Couldn't ask for a better tasting sandwich. Love this place and would definitely recommend.
