I ordered there Mongolian beef plate with fried rice and some egg rolls. The Mongolian beef was extremely salty and l was blown away. I made my own white rice at home and diluted it by mixing it together. It was my first time ordering there to go and my last. Only cause l live in the area l figured why not? But l prefer hung hung kitchen on Fruit and Shields. They make it perfect.

Sunrise Kitchen is a culinary gem that I recently discovered, and I must say, it's a hidden treasure in the world of Chinese-American cuisine. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality, setting the tone for a memorable dining experience. The menu at Sunrise Kitchen boasts a tantalizing array of Chinese-American dishes, each prepared with care and attention to detail. The flavors were exquisite, delivering a perfect balance of savory and sweet. And let's not forget about the portions – they were incredibly generous, ensuring that no appetite goes unsatisfied. What truly impressed me was the efficiency of the staff in handling orders. Despite the bustling atmosphere, they assisted me promptly and completed my order in a timely manner, which speaks volumes about their commitment to excellent service. In summary, if you're in the mood for delicious Chinese-American cuisine with generous portions and top-notch service, look no further than Sunrise Kitchen. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. I'll definitely be returning to sample more of their culinary delights. Highly recommended!Parking: Park next to it! :)

Sunrise is an amazing gem. I fly all the way down clovis Ave from Selma every chance I get. The consistency is top notch. No where else can I find good old fashioned pan fried noodles like this and chow mein. Not enough words for the food.BUT, prices. It's over priced. Great food great portions. I always loved going to them for what you got with the money you spent. Gas wasn't an issue. Even in 2019, 2020 when we "supported small business", 2021 they crept up, 2022 forget it. 2023 2024 it's virtually inedible. I just don't eat it as much as I'd like. From maybe 25 30 times a year to 3 4 times a year. And that's for a special plate. The cheapest plate. I used to get a lot more things on the menu. Please do better.

I am not super sure why this place has 5 stars. It's not worthy of 5 stars, but it isn't a 1 star place either. I will say, it is one of the better Chinese food restaurants in Fresno/Clovis. Let me elaborate.Food: I am from the Bay Area. Chinese food, from what I've seen here, is either Panda Express or small places like these that are part of a local chain. I have noticed much of the food at these places has a slimy-ish texture to them. It's almost goopy. I love their wonton soup though. However, I have tried other things on the menu (e.g. orange chicken, garlic beef, teriyaki chicken, etc.), but they usually end up being slimy. It isn't bad tasting, it is just not great texture. I do, however, enjoy their pork.Service: They are always quick, friendly, and willing to help. Service is awesome.Atmosphere: This is the southeast end of Fresno, and southwest side of Clovis (Sunnyside). There is a lot of the houseless population who usually hang out around this area. I don't find this to be too much of an issue, except for the one time where someone offered me "services" in exchange for food (awkward). The inside is very southeast Fresno-esque. It needs a little bit of a more welcoming vibe and some cleanup, but it isn't dirty per se. Just about average. Kinda like walking into a McDonald's when it's busy.TLDR; It's not bad, just expect about average. Food can be slimy and still have great taste, so watch what you get if you have texture problems. Great service, atmosphere needs a more welcoming vibe.

We had takeout. It was the worst Chinese food we’ve ever had. Everything was dry. The food was not fresh. We ate it for dinner but had to throw the rest away it was so bad.

Used to come here pretty often and my family would always get food from here. But just yesterday (as of time I posted this) I got food poisoning from then and so did my family. Me and my family will never come here again. I’m warning everyone that reads this go somewhere else. Might consider filing a complaint against them since the food poisoning is severe..

I am ashamed to say that I've lived in Fresno for 20 years and have never heard of this place until my coworkers told me about it and said to try it. I am very happy that I listened to them because I've officially found my new Chinese Joint to go to! I went to them twice in 1 week. Once during a slow day and once during a busy day. Both times the food and service was too notch. On the busy day I was waiting about 20 minutes for my food but when I told the momma there I needed to clock back into work (I actually did, didn't expect them to be super busy at 6pm) she made sure that my order was out 2 minutes after I told her. I got my food and was able to clock back into work on time. My favorite Chinese dish is Sweet and Sour Chicken. I usually judge by how well they make that dish and they did not disappoint. I give that dish specifically a solid 8/10. Why not a 10/10 you may ask its because I get it for take out so its freshly fried chicken and freshly made sauce and that's it for take out. I'm sure eating in they add more stuff to the sauce like veggies and whatnot but its all good! Quality, Quantity and Price are all amazing. You get massive amounts of food for a decent price! EX: I ordered 2 servings of Sweet and Sour Chicken, 1 Sauce and 1 order of Rice. Almost $25 for all of that. Not bad at all!! I'm telling you if you have never tried this place, give it a chance atleast once. This location in particular has been around for over 40 years. I met a fellow customer who said he's been coming to this location since the 1980s.Parking: Due to this location being in a busy area, its going to be quite difficult to find parking during busy days. Lots of people go here and plus there are other establishments literally right next door. To save you and your party some time, I'd suggest parking on the other side and walking to the restaurant.

Like Eddie said. Food use to be great and now it's a hit and miss. Rice isn't the same anymore and neither are the portions. Many years of coming here and I don't recognize faces anymore. What happened to the original owners?
