This place is our feel good food. You know we're having a good day or about to have one if we're eating this food. Their plates with fried rice and sautéed carrots are our go-to. We usually get steak or scallops but also enjoy their chicken and shrimp plates. Their sushi rolls are also simple and delicious. You have to try this place if you haven't yet. On top of all of that, the staff are also super friendly and quick.

Ordered Dragon roll, CA roll, Spicy roll & Sushiyaki Special roll. Plus, seaweed salad (which I didn't realize but has cubes of fish like poke salad) & the Dinner Special (expensive) & Calamari plate. The rolls were good & their sauce is great. Seaweed salad was really good value & quantity. Calamari plate good but Dinner Special pretty terrible. Chicken & beef were bland w/no seasoning & also tough, overcooked & dry. That's where I ding them. Otherwise, good stuff. Forgot to take pics, I normally do, sorry!

I really want to like this place but the first impression each time makes it sooo hard. Customer service has always been pleasant and quick during the lunch hour. But - the old flooring makes the place seem so dirty that it gives me an uneasy feeling about the food, even though it's always been fine. This is an older restaurant building with an unusual circular layout so there's a large wide floor area when you walk in, and it's badly stained so it looks dirty and grimy. The black and white squares just draw attention to it. The booth seats are aging which is understandable. The blinds too are damaged in several places, and the view to the side storage area is wide open. If you can ignore all that, you're good! I realize replacing the flooring probably would cost too much - but maybe it could be refinished?. Or at least put something just inside the entrance to distract from the open floor...maybe an easel welcome sign with fake plants next to it? The side storage room could easily be hidden with a standing screen. Another easy update could be a crisp logo or art on the black counter wall. Will keep giving this local business a chance and hope they can keep improving.

Don't be fooled when you peep your head in. I was scared i was going to regret this place, you walk in and the floors are visibly dirty, sticky, just looked unclean. Especially for the restaurant opening at 11 and getting there at 1. So not sure if they need new floors or what. But okay, the food is sooooo good!! My daughter got a California Roll and a side of bacon fried rice, she loved it! I got the teriyaki steak and rice and was amazing!! The side salad is your typical bagged salad with a home made dressing that was mid. The teriyaki spicy mayo sauce was good! Lady up at front was very kind as well. We'll be back for sure!

Never noticed this restuarant until the other week. Decided it was time to give it a shot and the shot returned with flying colors. Any review that says the food was bad, definitely tripping. Walked in, was greeted by a chef that immediately welcomed new guests to the establishment and offered great recommendations for sushi and plates. You cannot go wrong on the lava cake roll, sushiyaki special roll, and dragon roll! Don't forget that New York steak with bacon fried rice plate. Definitely impressed by how tender and well seasoned them tiny thin cuts were. Total was shy under $60 for all that for two. Can't beat that for 2024 prices. Hope this helps new faces check out a fantastic hole in the wall restaurant.
