What's not to love about Annex Kitchen? It delivers with delicious consistency every time! I love the atmosphere and the vibe, the drinks are always fire, and the service is attentive without being overdone. The food is all good - the pizza is the best in town, the shirt ribs and melt in your mouth amazing, the appetizers are all fantastic (I almost always have to get the arancini), and the kale salad is so good! My only complaint is that it can be hard to get a reservation because it's so popular and not very large - but so worth it when you can make it happen!

The service definitely deserves the 5 stars. Even for a busy day, everyone managed to be nice and polite, the food was also good but not having salt and pepper on the table is just a no for me, let's be honest, in recent years most cooks will go easy on the spices due to people having allergies or health problems, so leaving them to decide for the rest of us just doesn't work for me, I ordered the ribeye and it was cook as I ordered it, the polenta tasted good too. My friend had the chicken(30 minutes to cook), and she was happy too. I had the creme Brule drink to finish the night and also tasted good. Overall, I will come back and try to items on the menu.

Really good meal. Steak was prepared as ordered. Service was spot on. Our group was 5 and the table wasn't crowded even with a couple appetizers still hanging around when our meals arrived.... Together and hot. Never a bad choice for dining. Only disappointing thing was they ran out of the bone marrow appetizer fairly early in the service. But still a 5 star experience

Our server was Davida and he was professional and charming. I started with the little gem salad which was delicious. Then for main course the Hanger steak and I split the Butternut Squash Agnolotti with my friend. The hanger steak i could cut with my fork and my mind was blown at how flavorful the butt nut squash agnolotti. For desert I had the Affogato which was perfect combination of sweet and espresso.Parking: The restaurant was hard to find as the signage is hidden. But worth the hunt!!

Tremendous service and wine selection. Never had a complaint. I look forward to returning in the future. A solid choice for a special night out or just Thursday dinner.

Good foood, wasn't everything I was told but nonetheless it was good! Probably wouldn't go as often but i did like the look of the restaurant in a random part of town to call itself "fine dining" but did the job! Thank you :)

Fresno's hidden gem. I used this site to discover this cute establishment. I was in town for a conference. Since it was a Friday, I had to eat a seafood or vegetarian dish. The young ladies at the hostess stand were kind and patient with me as they walked me through the menu. I went with my first intuition and ordered the mix mushroom pizza. As a mushroom fanatic, I was in heaven. This is one of the most flavorful pizzas I've ever devoured. The ambiance is intimate, romantic, and contemporary from what I saw, as it was night time. I even stopped by Pardini's or the Red Room, a venue located in front of The Annex. This venue is a modern lounge. Unfortunately since I was in work apparel, I was reluctant to have a cocktail there. It looked fairly fancy. If I ever return to Fresyes, I will take my people to both spots... you should do the same.

Although the space was pretty cramped, and I felt way to close to all the tables around me, the food was delicious. I ordered a pizza which came uncut. I had to wait 8 minutes or so for someone to come around and I had to request that they cut the pizza into slices. Felt kind of ridiculous, but over all delicious food. Extremely expensive, be prepared to spend over 250$ for 2 people.

Arriving at Annex Kitchen ten minutes before opening, we found parking to be a breeze, securing a spot right in front of the restaurant. The moment we stepped in, greeted by the empty ambiance and a warm smile from the server, it felt promising. However, our lack of reservation meant we were faced with a nearly three-hour wait due to full booking.Opting for the drink bar over the pizza bar, we settled into our seats. The staff were exceptionally friendly, enhancing the experience with their kindness. My old-fashioned and my wife's sweet drink hit all the right notes—flavorful without overwhelming strength. The truffle fries, served with aioli and Parmigiano, boasted perfect crispiness and a seasoning that left us impressed. Our main courses, the sliced hanger steak for me and the Mezze Rigatoni with sausage ragu for my wife, were memorable. My steak was cooked to medium perfection, a rarity in my dining experiences, while my wife found her pasta tasty, albeit the sausage flavor slightly dominant. The bartenders shared useful drink-making tips, adding value beyond just serving drinks. Their suggestion to book ahead is a wise one, considering the packed house. Yet, the bar offered its own charm and engaging experience. Peering over at the pizza bar, its allure was undeniable, hinting at another visit solely for their reputed pizzas. Our evening capped off with a delightful Crème Brûlée cocktail, a creative concoction blending Stoli Vanilla Vodka, Ampersand Madagascar vanilla ice cream, vanilla extract, egg white, and a caramelized sugar rim. It was an exquisite dessert drink that perfectly rounded off our dining experience.A reservation is key to fully experiencing what Annex Kitchen has to offer, though spontaneous visitors can still find joy and deliciousness at the bar.
