The Palms 1st time here. Reservation made at 6:15pm. Arrive on time. Get seated as soon as we walk in, that's when disaster happens. Waited at least 10 minutes before the server asked for any drinks. Bus boy told us there was no bread (for a Saturday night was odd). Got Drinks, ordered an appetizer, Oysters Rockefeller and entree. After this, in a total of 20 min, a table next to us was seated. Around the same time, I was told there were no more Oysters. Explained to the server that it was strange, no bread - no oysters for a weekend where people would venture out (and I am sure they would see how many reservations were made). In any case, she asked for a substitute, said Calamari, and she said on it (and comp'd). About 10-15 min later a plate of oysters comes out. I immediately know this is gonna be a circus. After we finish the oysters, 10-15 min pass by and guess what the calamari comes out. Clearly the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Server came out, explained the issues. Mom and Dad were out of town and son was running the ship tonight. OK-whatever. Said she would comp me another scotch-OK. Still waiting for entree, remember the table that got seated after us, well guess what, they got their entree, while my entree was not served at this point. At this point, given all the gives I could give without being a dick, I had enough. Simply asked the other tables server to ensure that they get their dessert before I got my entree. WALKED OUT. Was asked to stay, even my server was tempting me with a bottle of scotch. The son came out finally, but he didn't seem to care if he had to take a loss. Will never return nor recommend this place. If you don't fit their clientele then expect to be treated like economy class like the airlines. Immediately went to Manhattan, had a much better time, gave them my money and I couldn't be happier.

HORRIBLE service & won't ever return!I let them know in advance we were celebrating my girlfriend's birthday & to please do something special for her. When we arrived, they did NOTHING, didn't even ask if we were celebrating anything. Our stuck up server Knarik had a crappy attitude & thick accent we couldn't understand her & she hardly checked up on us.At a fine dining restaurant I expect much better service. That server didn't explain anything on the menu, just dropped off food & ran away. Shame on this restaurant for not doing anything special for my girlfriend's birthday

It's a beautiful atmosphere for a special event. For a fancy place, the prices are reasonable so if someone is asking you to go somewhere nice, this would be the spot ! I've been here twice, and both times the chicken has been moist and tasty! The salad is fresh and the rib eye was cooked to perfection! Everyone was very nice and attentive to our needs. If you haven't eaten here, this place is worth visiting!

This review is based on how they handled a situation. Either they should discourage it from family restaurant. The waitress made special arrangements to accommodate a rude guest who was bothered by the presence of children, she disregarded the presence of other guests and was not focussed/interested in providing a hospitable service to the other table she was assigned.

Originally was suppose to be a date or ‘Mommy & Daddy, but our sitter canceled. I called The Palms and asked if they were kid friendly. They said absolutely. The gave us a booth and were very friendly and complimented our kids. Very nice staff. Drinks amazing. Food stupendous. Will keep coming back. Thank you guys. We loved it!

About a year ago i ordered the big ribeye med rare. It came scorched on the outside and raw in the middle. Waitress agreed. 20 minutes later she brings me another that looks a little more scorched and raw in the middle Waitress was very embarrassed. I left her a nice tip anyway. A week ago +- same thing happened again except i didn't bother waiting for another abortion. Never again! ?

We made reservations and went there for the first time with my fiancé for Valentine’s Day. Our waiter was very friendly. We ordered a Cabernet and a recommended pomegranate cocktail and both drinks were really good. I had the bone in ribeye with the twice baked potato, and my fiancé had the New York with the truffle mac & cheese. The steaks we incredible. I would definitely come back here again.

We wanted to dine on Monday. Most of our favorite restaurants are not open. So...we decided to venture out! The best decision we made. It was a very special time with our friends with a fine dining experience.

SO YUMMY! I love how different this restaurant felt, the vibe was very classy and felt like a special place in this part of Fresno. I came here for Valentine's day and will be coming back for a birthday dinner! Such a beautiful place

The Chilean sea bass was perfectly done, the disappointment was the mashed potatoes were cold. It was a busy night, Valentine's so it was understandable that they put us in the patio area which I didn't like, low ambiance. Their salads are very large and dependably good.

It was my first time there. We went on Valentine's Day for dinner. It was very elegant. Service was great! We ordered the Palm tower as an appetizer which was WONDERFUL! I got the Almond crusted Salmon and my husband got the filet as an entree . He said the filet tasted good but was a little tough. My salmon was perfect! The prices seemed fair.

This was our 2nd time having dinner here. Our first time was on our anniversary and we enjoyed it so much that we decided to come back. I only rated service 4 stars this time as opposed to 5 because it seemed we were ignored a bit as other customers who arrived after us were served first. It took longer than last time to be waited on for drinks.
