My husband and I love coming here on the weekend as a special treat. The man working behind the counter making the coffees and taking orders is awesome! He’s always super friendly and the drinks are delicious. He is usually on his own up front, which I’m sure can be stressful. But even so, he is always very efficient and does it all with a smile. It’s impressive. He is a master at his craft for sure! Also, on a side note, the cinnamon rolls are the bomb. I can wholeheartedly recommend The Mug!

I am a regular at The Mug and I absolutely love it. It's the only coffee shop in Fresno where I feel completely comfortable being there for long periods of time to do my homework, meet with my friends, and do Bible studies. Their coffee and food is amazing. I've tried every coffee they have and love their hot chai tea latte the most and their chicken chipotle melt is delicious. The management and staff are so friendly and always recommend great drinks. If you are looking for a calm, welcoming place to enjoy coffee while studying, this is the place!

Stopped by to study! Cashier was friendly and wait time was minimal! Interior has great lighting (large windows!!), lots of fans going, is clean, and is decorated nicely. I got the dark chocolate mocha (large, iced) for $6 which is a pretty good price. I wanted to get a pastry as well but the shelves only had 3 items available, so I skipped out this visit. One of the employees calls names and brings drinks/food to each table, while the other calls names and leaves it on the counter-- so I guess it depends on who makes your drink. Now, for my drink. I definitely have a sweet tooth, but this was overwhelmingly sweet and had significantly more syrup than coffee. Was waiting for the restroom for a while. I asked if they had a key and they told me that one was out of order. It might've been nice to have a sign or something. I think The Mug would be absolutely perfect to hang out with friends (super loud, inviting environment) but it's not the greatest study spot. I could only spot one outlet located in the back left corner, so I waited until that table was available. I do really like that this coffee shop opens at either 6 or 7 in the morning, so I will probably come back another day and snag that table with an outlet as soon as they open!

What a wonderful place!! Felt so welcomed. Everyone was SO kind, with the biggest smiles on their faces. I came here to do some school work and it was the best environment! Also an amazing place just to grab coffee with friends!Parking: Tons of parking!Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible. Lots of tables with accessible space.

Came by after 3pm on a Sunday needing a little pick me up. Hubby ordered a hot mocha first while I looked over the menu. The cashier/barista seemed like she was in a hurry for me to order, so instead of me being able to review all my menu options I ordered a hot mocha with oat milk.... only to be informed that they were out of oat milk. The tone was rude and then I was told I can get soy or almond milk. I declined and decided to go wait in the car. If someone is new to your establishment, patience and kindness goes a long way to get returning customers. I will not go out of my way to try this shop now.

I wanted to give this place a second chance before making a review. The first time i went It took nearly 45 min to get my food, it was not busy at all. Once they brought our food out they apologized because they had to make more pancake batter. I understand making batter takes some time but not 45 min… meanwhile i sipped on my coffee, the coffee was far too sweet and i ended up tossing it. The food was decent but quite overpriced. I went to the restroom in the back and I basically walked into their pantry that was very unorganized. I went again today to give them a second chance since the food itself was decent. But was surprised when i was told that the cook was going on break and there would be no one that could make breakfast … how does that make sense. I ended up leaving & going elsewhere and i dont think i can give them another try after this.
