“We purposely drive an hour away to just eat here. We love the tepanaki but this last time we didn't enjoy it as much as the last time. The chef who cooked for us did tell us that they had a lot of call offs so he was a sushi chef cooking for us. We love the fried rice but this time it was super dry like he let it cook for too long. But overall the meal was enjoyable. We were a group of 2 adults and 5 kids including a 1 year old who disliked seeing fire.“

“This place has a great bar and vibe. I like that they’ll seat you for teppanyaki without reservations and without having a full table, unlike some other places in Fresno.Service was great, drinks were also really good. New bartender was training when I was at the but she did really well. I was very happy all my meal, it was delicious and made for a great lunch the next day as well. The only issue I had was they charge sooo much for sides of sauce. It’s a rip off and ridiculous. A small side of siracha was $1.50. Not only did they not tell me this up front, but I feel the charge is absolutely excessive. I would have brought my own and will in the future if I have the opportunity to return. Same for the spicy sauce. 2oz = $2. Ridiculous!“

“I have gone a couple times to this restaurant, and every time I have gone it has been empty. But good empty, to where it's not busy and the atmosphere is perfect like that. The first time I went there, me and my girlfriend sat at the teppanyaki table and the chef cooked for just me and her. It was awesome!“

“Popped into the new Table Mountain yesterday for a coffee break while on Millerton Rd. We instantly knew we had to come back the next day for dinner. Sukai did not disappoint. It’s so refreshing to enjoy such a fabulous sushi & teppanyaki meal while overlooking the Fresno valley. The drinks, meal, and view were spectacular, but the service truly elevated our experience. We are especially appreciative of Kaylyn, our server, who was not only attentive but especially friendly & just an overall asset to the experience at Sukai. Danielle, the manager, was also excellent and ensured we enjoyed our first experience of many more to come! Pro-tip: if you don’t care about the teppanyaki table experience and just want to enjoy a jaw-dropping view of the Central Valley at sunset, request Table 14 by the window. Glad to have Sukai in Fresno!“
