This spot provides superb service as well as enjoyable menu. One of my favourite spots in the city. The meals arrived fast and the prices are fair. I recommend this place.

I love the abalone porridge and the beef and mushroom porridge. This is my go to comfort food when I'm under the weather or need something light and soothing.

The porridge here is thick, filling, and sooo delicious!! I've eaten here twice (once dine-in and once take out) and both times I've ordered the abalone porridge and the chicken & ginseng porridge. The takeout packaging is very attractive and neat! The abalone porridge is filled with bits of mushroom and abalone and has a mild flavor (in comparison to the chicken & ginseng). The chicken & ginseng has more flavor and textures/ingredients, including ginseng, jujube, and some green onions. Both are very good! This food is so comforting and I feel so good after I eat it, it's tasty without being greasy, fatty, or overly salty. I just had it, and I'm craving it again!

Great chain restaurant for Korean slow food. If you have upset stomach, Korean slow food is great choice. Also, pretty tasty as a regular meal too.

I have fond memories of this Bon Juk location as it was the first time I experienced Korean porridge and learned that I enjoyed it. Though it is out of the way for me, I like this location. It is located in an isolated center atop a hill in Fullerton. There is not too much going on in the plaza, so there is plenty of parking spaces. The service here is very friendly. Though dining in is not an option amid the global pandemic, I never really experience waiting issues or ordering issues when I dined in. If you do decide to order out, you should call in about half an hour before you want to pick up. Their shrimp porridge is my favourite. It is simple yet nourishing and subtly flavourful. I also enjoy the sides, particularly the kimchi radish. This is probably my favourite Bon Juk location of the ones they have in Southern California, and I make the trek here to have their porridge when I crave it.

We ordered pumpkin jook, chicken, and beef and mushroom. All of them were just okay. The rice ball in the pumpkin soup was too mushy. I make jook at home and the whole family preferred mine.Nothing against the owners or staff, they seemed nice. But wouldn't return for the food.

I love this place so much. Juk has got to be one of the healthiest comfort foods you can possibly eat. The quality is exactly like all the Bon Juk chains you see in Korea - the quantity, taste, service, everything. It's so hard to choose which one to eat because they are all delicious in their own way. The pumpkin is a popular choice and one of my personal favorites. It's on the sweeter side and is made with kabocha squash. The fermented salty side dishes and cold radish kimchi are a must that compliments the juk well whenever you feel like it starts to get boring. This is my go-to place especially on rainy or cold days when I want to also feel nourished.

The portions are large and good enough for two meals. I like their banchan and service was friendly. I recommend the octopus kimchi bonjuk and the classic abalone juk. Parking is spacious and food comes out quickly.
